Work From Home: How COVID Changed the Way We Work
Earlier there was not much concept of work from home but since the time Covid 19 came into operation, all these things started increasing a lot, it is not that work from home was not there before that, it might have been there before that too but it was not that much popular but after that work from home was started in most of the companies which could do it. Mostly all the IT companies were among them. Well, see, perfume home is not possible for everyone because many peoples jobs were such that they could not work from home, for example, think of a taxi driver or an auto driver or any person who has to travel here and there, regarding his job, he cannot work from home. So, overall, this facility was not for everyone and not everyone could do it. Everyone's job is not suitable for them to work from home, this is the case. Many people's jobs are such that they have to go to the field and they have to do things that they cannot do sitting at home.
Earlier this trend was very less but now this trend has increased a lot because after Covid-19 happened, many things have become online. Earlier online things were prevalent but not that much but after Covid 19, things have changed a lot and since then we all have got used to all those things. See, with technology, things change very fast around us and you all must have also noticed that what things have changed around you since the internet is growing very fast
And now every week something new comes up and it seems as if we might get left behind in all these things. Nowadays a lot of work is being done from home. If you want to run a hotel, you can run one from your home through cloud kitchen and many jobs have come up which you can do sitting at home. Many people are earning from home by creating content and they do not even need to go anywhere. There is a lot of struggle in the beginning but later they do not face much problem, they open their studio at home and all the work gets done sitting at their home. See, this is my personal opinion that it is happening wherever one wants. If you want to do something, then if not today then tomorrow some doors will definitely open for you, you just have to keep trying for that thing continuously.
See, ever since the work from home camera challenge has started, it is not that only the employed are benefiting from it, the companies are also benefiting a lot from it. See, the employees are saving money because they do not need to travel, there is no need to wear clothes every day, then they can work sitting at home and join their meetings, this is also much more comfortable. And it is profitable for the company as well because see, companies are also saving a lot of money because there are many companies which give a lot of allowance to their employees which they can cut off if a person is not coming to office regularly. See, many companies have cafeterias and if your office is open then electricity is spent in it and there are many other things which are spent but if many people are working from home then the company also benefits a lot from it.
But see, every single thing has two aspects, if it has a positive side, it also has a negative side. Many employees are lazy and they do not want to go back to the company and work because when you are at home, you can make any kind of excuse, if you are in the office, then you cannot make any kind of excuse, in such a situation, productivity is a big issue. Many people prefer to go to office because they cannot find peace of mind at home. Moreover, everyone's home arrangement is different, not everyone has a sector room nor does everyone have all kinds of privileges, so they feel comfortable in the office only.
Look, many big companies like Google still ask people to come in just two or three days a week, and the rest you can take from work if you wish. If you want to come in for the whole week, it's two or three days a week. Because my relatives work less, I have a little idea about their work culture. Anyway, Google is a much more popular company, you can search for it.
I think it's beneficial for a company to offer work from home to its employees, but if the employee is honest and passionate about their work, it will be beneficial for the company; otherwise, it could be detrimental to the company.

Well, I agree that COVID really changed the way we think about work. Work from home can be great for both employees and companies but I think it really depends on the type of job and how responsible the employee is. Because you know some people are much more productive at home and some need the office environment to stay focused. So, I think having the choice seems like the best option. Because both are beneficial and it's not harmful. Everyone should have the freedom to choose for themselves. Also, it's upto the company what they want remote or work from home. So, before getting a job people should also do the inquiries.

I agree that the biggest shift wasn’t necessarily the invention of remote work, but how quickly COVID-19 made it mainstream and forced companies to rethink what actually needs to happen in an office. A software developer may be perfectly productive from a bedroom, while a taxi driver, nurse, construction worker, or technician obviously needs to be physically present.
I also think the real issue with remote work comes down to trust and accountability. When employees are committed and companies have clear goals and communication systems, working from home can benefit both sides. But without accountability, flexibility can easily become an excuse for poor performance.
In my opinion, the future isn’t really about choosing between office and home, but figuring out which environment makes sense for the work being done.

Of a truth, COVID 19 did changed a lot of things. It made remote work the order of the day, and ever since then there's been improvement and advancement on it. A lot of companies now have different online roles and all, and in my opinion, I would say remote works ain't going nowhere.
