When Childhood Innocence Is Stolen
Crimes are increasing rapidly around us and in such a situation the number of people committing crimes is also increasing because earlier there used to be fewer crimes but nowadays you can see all types of crimes no matter who it is and see if there is child abuse and their number is also much more than the abuser, many times it happens that for the safety of children and for their better future, some families never file any case. See, whatever you get from this type or whatever reports you get online or offline, you get the same stats as those who have registered their cases, well who knows how many such cases there would be of victims about whom no one ever knew and no one will ever know. Like many small children are like this, whether boy or girl, they are sexually assaulted in their childhood but they are not able to say anything, maybe they are scared of that particular person or maybe they are scared of some other kind of fear but there is something or the other due to which they are very much afraid. And those who are victims in childhood, they do not tell people so easily that what happened to them in childhood and who did it to them, sometimes their age is so young that they even known what is happening to them.
I watch and listen to so many crime stories, you can say that I am interested in it, I don't know why but I like to listen to it and through this I get to know what kind of crimes are happening all over the world and how people think and I get to know many other things also.
Criminal -:
There are people with criminal mindset around us, it is not that you can identify them easily because nowadays anyone can commit a crime, you cannot go by someone's looks nor can you target people of any particular profession, nowadays you get to see criminal activities in all types of sections and the reason is different for everyone. But if we talk about child abusers, they too live nearby in our society and it has become very difficult to identify such people these days because such people roam around with fake identities and in such a situation it becomes a little difficult to investigate them. And to be honest, not everyone can do such things, some people have very charming personalities and everyone gets fascinated by their personality and they take wrong advantage of the same, you must have often seen that many criminals are also like this. I would not say that everyone is like this but in many cases it is like this.
Boundaries -:
You must have often seen that criminals set their boundaries and they know where to try and where not. If they have a family, then they will probably never think wrong about them. They will always think of protecting them, but if it comes to someone else's family, then they will probably not think that much. This is where you can see a difference. See, when we live in a family, there are boundaries of our relationships and we know to what extent we should go with whom and not. Hare Krishna has his own boundaries, the things that he can talk about with his partner, he can talk about with his friends, maybe he cannot talk about with his parents and brothers and sisters and some people are very frank, there is no doubt in this but still you have to limit a boundary everywhere due to which your relationships are different, if you are like everyone then maybe the relationship will not have much value for you, I feel so. You cannot share all kinds of things with everyone. If I talk about myself, I also try to keep my life private to a great extent and try not to share my personal and private information with anyone. I do share it with some people but still I remain very reserved.
Own Children -:
Whatever abusers you will find, mostly those who do this with teenagers, they also love their families a lot but they know what their boundaries are or can be, only they can know what goes on in their minds. Everyone wants to be able to provide the best facilities to their children, mostly everyone has this mindset but I would not say that every person is like this, there are many people who are extremely careless, they do not care for their children and they trouble them for money and that too in many ways. There are many such people where their parents themselves have abused them or have troubled them in some way or the other.
Every criminal or a particular person has a different mindset. Nowadays, I don't know what kind of news is coming, looking at it, I am unable to understand anything. But still, if there is a criminal who is caught abusing miners and small children or is involved in such activities, then he should definitely be punished. And as far as reuniting him with his children is concerned, I think that is his personal matter. If his children and his family are comfortable in going with him or staying with him, then that is his personal choice. Talking about punishment, it depends on what the criminal has done because see, once a person commits a crime, then there is a lot of shift in his mindset and when he is sent with other prisoners, then there he gets to meet other types of prisoners due to which more changes are seen in him, you too must have seen this in many movies. 1
