Actually, the government keeps on taking tax from all of us in some form or the other. If the tax on some things is high then they become expensive and if the tax on some things is low then they become cheap. Mostly any country imposes less tax on the things produced in their own country and more tax is imposed on the things which are imported from outside so that the products made at home are used more. But sometimes the things which are there are very cheap and even if tax is imposed on them then also they become very cheap, there are many such things. Mostly Chinese products are available in large quantities in India. It is easiest to get them here because there is a lot of cheap and people keep buying them. Actually Chinese products have a huge dominance in India or should I say in the whole world because they export a lot of products instead of importing them. But look, one thing is common everywhere and that is religion and the place where people worship.

Many people donate in temples because there is no tax of any kind in it. People donate many times more money and organize bhandara (feast) because it is non-taxable. At present it is like this in India and many people also take advantage of this thing and they also make it a way to save tax. But see in India if I talk about temples specifically then a lot of offerings are made here and many times that money becomes so much that it cannot be used properly. Because people have a lot of faith and they offer donations accordingly, many people give money, some people offer gold, some people offer silver, some people offer clothes, it can be anything it depends on what your faith is and what your financial conditions are. Look, I will not say that the person who gives a lot of charity is also good at heart, it is not necessary, there are some people who are poor but they are very generous from the heart. So you cannot judge someone's true nature by his appearance because nowadays the world trusts appearances more.

See, if whatever offerings are made at temples and religious places are made taxable, then in a way it can be used for the welfare of the society because many times it happens that there is a lot of money collected in the trusts which is of no use in any way and even salons keep accumulating in the temple trust. By the way, now in India many temples have been taken over by the government and the priests there are given monthly salary and whatever offerings are made, the government collects it. But in many places money still goes to temple trusts and in such vast quantities that you can't even fathom it. And if this money can be used to benefit people in any way, it should be done. Mostly should do this in larger temples, as they receive higher donations, which will generate more taxes and help more people.

Furthermore, anything related to a religion that people hold a strong faith in can be a bit difficult to make decisions about, and decisions like this are often made after a lot of thought. But I think if people knew that their money was being used to help someone or benefit someone, they would be even happier. Look, they do not know what will be done with this money. Mostly this money is used for renovation of the temple or for organizing a feast or for other things. But still, somewhere a lot of money gets saved due to which it does not get done in a way and many corrupt people also take undue advantage of this thing.

You might have also heard about the case of Ram Temple of Ayodhya, there many people were doing a huge scam which is a shameful thing for them. Perhaps if that money had been used somewhere, even if it was used for welfare, people would not have been so incensed, but when it is used by an individual for his own benefit, then people get incensed by it a lot and this is not good for a society. So see, if whatever offering is made, if it can be used for the welfare of people in any way, then it must be done, this is what I believe, what do you think about this?
