Saving Money Through DIY: My Approach to Everyday Problems

Well, there are many tasks in our life which we like to do ourselves and there are some tasks which we do not like to do. Everyone has different preferences and choices and also interests. If you find something interesting to do, then maybe you enjoy doing it and you do not want anyone else to do that work. If you are not interested in something then maybe you would like someone else to do the work or you would like to hire someone. When you hire any professional for any work then in such a case you have to pay them and if you have money then things become easy for you but if you do not have money or your budget is very tight then things can become difficult for you. Many people do many tasks themselves which are small tasks but if there is any big work then for that they have to hire a professional.

Suppose there are some minor repair works to be done in your house then they get it done by you. If there is a big problem then many people hire professionals, if you have good knowledge in the field then you can also do that work yourself but sometimes it takes some time to do the work yourself. Well there are many works which I feel we should not do ourselves because some works are too risky and we should hire professionals only if you do not have good knowledge about it. Look, I don't have many skills, but I'm quite interested in computer-related things. You could say I'm quite interested in troubleshooting, and I take a lot of interest in it.

Earlier things were very difficult, you had to search for anything or watch videos but now with the help of AI you can do everything with the help of that. Although you can do things but some people are still afraid to touch the computer related things or mobile phones if something goes wrong because they think that if they mess up some settings then who knows what will happen. But see, nothing like that happens as we think, at the most what will happen is that you will have to reset your phone or change some settings, that's all that happens. When a new computer came to our house many times I used to do such things due to which windows used to get corrupted and then gradually I learned how to install windows, then I started learning such things and then my interest in it increased even more.

See, whenever there is any computer related trouble shooting to be done, I first look at it myself and try to understand the situation as to what has happened and what went wrong and if I am able to solve the things then i will try few things, if not then I search for it online and if I find something then it is fine otherwise I go to the computer repair shop and get it fixed which is the last option šŸ˜…. But mostly I try to troubleshoot whatever is there, be it a hardware or software issue, I fix it myself (Not all the time it work but it works sometimes), if I can do it then see, I definitely get to learn something new every time. Honestly speaking, I haven't done anything like this for a long time and it is a good thing in a way because when there is a problem in your system then it becomes very troublesome for you because I mostly work from my laptop, I use mobile phone but not that much because I am more used to laptop.

I keep changing the settings of my phone a lot, so if a new person gets hold of it, he will not be able to understand what is going on in it. But people who know me and those who know me a little bit, they know that I keep doing such things, so for them it seems normal. Earlier, when it was the time of Windows XP, I used to change a lot of things and download different types of themes in my system and Windows Media Player used to have many different themes at that time. I remember all that too, it was a very different time. But now I am using Windows 11 for quite some time and it is very reliable, I don't face that many problems in the laptop and whenever I do, then the repair is very expensive. However, I do small things myself like upgrading the RAM or installing SSD or sometimes cleaning the laptop or any other trouble shooting.

So overall I enjoy working on a computer a lot and I try to do it myself and try not to spend any money on it first of all if the problem is too practical or beyond my understanding then I have to take help of a professional and we should also take it.
