If this is done, it may have side effects and people may even die due to it, that is why whatever medicines come on the market, are first tested and when they pass all the tests, only then it is launched. Although there are many incurable diseases, believe me, there are many scientists or companies who are engaged in research of such things which will only benefit the entire human civilization. Look, there is competition everywhere and the medicine sector is one where there is a lot of competition and gradually as time passes, the medicines and companies are also increasing. Look, if you want to progress in something, then you have to do experiments for it.
