Look, nowadays with the increase in the population of India, a very big issue has arisen here, that is, unemployment. Students are studying, but they are not able to do the studies that the company needs, or they are not able to do things that can solve the demand of the company or the problems that are going on in society.
Nowadays everyone obtains a degree but if he does not have the knowledge as per the degree, then what is the use of it, even if you top the exams but if you have practical knowledge, then in such a case a degree is of no less, yes in some areas a degree might have value but if you are not skilled then probably even after obtaining that degree you will not get any benefit, if you are skilled and you do not have any kind of degree, then still you can do a very good job. Earlier times were very different, and now they have become very different. Time is changing very fast, especially since it is important to bring changes to our education system.
There are still many areas where you cannot do any kind of thing without a degree. If you want to become a college professor, then you have to clear many exams for that. If you want to become a judge in the court or want to become a lawyer, then for that, you also need exams and a degree. But there are still some areas where you do not need any kind of degree, where only your scale is seen.
Some people are very good at some skills, but with the help of social media, you can share your content anywhere, and if you create good content, then you can monetise the content. And in this way, you can generate income for yourself. If you have good knowledge of something, then you can make a video about that topic, which will be liked by those people who are researching it or searching for it or those who like to talk related to that topic. Look, I am not saying that getting a degree is wrong. If you are getting a degree and the institute from which you are getting the degree is not giving you the knowledge of that level in return for the degree, then maybe you should not get it from there.
If you are getting a degree and you do not have the knowledge at that level and you are getting the degree just to show off, then in such a case, you are wasting your time. It would be better if you use your time and money somewhere else, and it will definitely benefit you. Many times I have seen that people who live in India go abroad for higher studies because the person coming from outside gets a good package, and he is also given more respect. Look, many are only interested in getting a degree but some people get degree to increase their knowledge, if you have good knowledge in any field, then you will automatically start getting good marks, many people pass by studying or by rote learning or should I say get a degree, but what is the use of such a degree which does not get you any kind of appointment, it is better to remain uneducated.
If you want to get a job after getting a degree or after doing a special course or you want to start generating income for yourself, then you should do that thing with full fashion and you should get as much information as you can about it and you should get information about such schools and colleges from where you can get a very good education in that subject or that degree so that your future becomes bright and your degree does not just remain idle.

You are right , some profession need the degree while some needs your skill more , it all depends on our path in life .
Yes you are right, yes but if you are scales you can earn money then you don't need degree everyone had their other mindset or perspective of seeing the life
I wonder what more skills a medical student student will need to acquire other than what has been learnt at the college of medicine.
Each degree category comes with a skill. And as such, if an egalitarian society, a university degree holder must have undergone the drills and modeling needed to succeed in the large society.
I will negate that a degree is just a piece of paper. Education is for what, it is to differentiate what is right and what is wrong. Education is for you to select your career. Education is for you to understand things logically to solve them. We always say that degrees are unable to get a job. I think degree give you a direction not a skill. Skills you get after getting a degree. Point of view can be different but I always urge people to educate their generations to make their child a good human being not to get a job.

I also believe that degree should reflect skills and real-world knowledge, not just collecting certificates. The education system in Bangladesh is really not that good, like we don't even have any experience or learning any. After getting a degree many are suffering from unemployment so it's a big issue.

This situation is very strong in China. Here in my country, in South America, a good university level or degree is required, but jobs are scarce. Another complicating factor is that after the age of thirty, it's hard to get a job.

Education should be about acquiring certain skills, not certain knowledge, especially in an age of AI that's coming. What will memorization be good for if you can have an AI assistant in basically any profession that's so much better at it? It's scary, but you're right, and I don't think a simple reform will do, we need to rethink education from the ground up rather than trying to make small adjustments. This is a really hard task to do, but the societies which are the most successful in adapting will become the champions.
I know degree is very important but in real life skills matters most and I think degree without having enough knowledge can't make significant contributions. It's because we are not useful if we have good memorizing power.
