When you're looking for beauty in languages, you can always make research by going to various places in Nigeria. There is this beauty every language carries and you will be amazed at how they came about them, having different people, tribes and culture let alone other parts of the world.

So in this case, how many languages can we actually learn when we have several languages?
How many human translators would go around translating for communication to occur and the likes?
Just like a movie producer I saw, who went visiting a king of the state she was trying to promote her movie. The king probably does not hear what she speaks so there was a translator as an intermediary. What if this wasn't a physical communication? Do we have to go hire a translator whenever we need him or her to translate what we just saw on our screen or as an interview question.
Luckily, technology came into the picture and took over, translating from one language to another and making it easier to communicate well enough.
I remember oneday, when someone commented on my post in Spanish and poor me didn't know what that meant. I had to copy and then translate to English using Google translator and immediately, I was able to respond to her comment like I had understood what she said. That's the usefulness of having technology around in the system.
Truly this might be like a two-edged sword like we've always talked about the use of technology. Technology may have deprived us of trying our best to learn other foreign languages as we now found an easier path and shortcuts to do this. Even though, we still have the opportunity of students learning this in school but in the case of people who are not willing to go back to school because they wanted to learn a language.
I remember the time I saw a remote offer on language translator but it was a tribe from my country which I know not their language. It was a job of mouth watering payment in dollars but I lost the opportunity because I didn't know anything about the language.

All the same, we can't belittle the impact AI is having in making life easier to live and to ensure that we are still able to communicate despite the barriers in languages. There are inventions of mobile apps to learn some languages from amateur to master level, which actually makes things more better. But what about when it is off virtual communication and turns physical communication?
So it's just kind of entangled in some ways and the more reason why it's a two-way thing. AI is helping but at the same time, it is bringing down the morale in willing to learn more about ourselves.
In conclusion, doing things for ourselves is about determination and we can always learn if we wish to. That we have a virtual Assistant helping in sorting things doesn't override our ability to learn if we want to and in the long run we have the power to choose.

Good read all the way. Sorry that you lost a job causes of not understanding the language.. hopefully you'll see a better offer 😊
You're right, Ai can not do everything when it's comes interacting with another language, there's an extent to which it can work, maybe in terms of communicating through text. But verbally, it might not work even if you try to learn it online.
Learning a language is about understanding and mastering it , it goes beyond Ai.
Yes it can't work for verbal communication unless it's been learned. The only issue here is we knowing when to draw the line as humans and not handling all responsibilities to AI
Yeah, AI had done the heavy work for us. Having to learn a new language or not is now a choice of an individual.
Although the availability of AI shouldn't now override our ability to learn
You get it.... It's our choice no matter what
