The Binding Contract outside Exploitation

Internship and employers issues are like matters raising between a wedded couple which can't easily be interfered in. Not because you ain't good enough in counseling them to do this and not do that or what rights one has over the other, but because they have this special bond that ties them together of which both are aware about before entering into the cordial contract, it makes it a skeptical case of interference (let me sound like a lawyer small)

I've once recruited interns before, so I'm aware of the contract that lies between them and employers. Truthfully, without trying to be sentimental about this, we all know that internship is about learning on a particular skill, building up a career from a particular person or organization for a specific period of time. Which means that as an intern, you are actually eating from such organizations meal of knowledge to fill your empty stomach and practically thinking about it, you won't wanna impose on someone who just finished sorting your hunger and made you feel satisfied with good food for money or payment on the free food he gave to you.

It's as simple as that if we want to explicitly break it down to understand and there is absolutely no way that would happen except if there is a close relationship attached aside being an intern.
But then, we all know that for every first hand knowledge these interns get from he organization, the give it back at first hand to the organization, where they get to build on what they've been learning so far.

So it may not still sound bad if employers appreciates their interns with stipends cos at least some financial sacrifices are made from the interns side to get the knowledge. Just like I mentioned about recruiting applicants for internship before, it was a juicy one for them cos at the end of the month they get their payments in 6 figures and other benefits that main staff members also gets, even though they could not finish with their internship contract because of the whole toxicity and nonstandard structures in place but they were paid and this was their point of attraction to holding unto the internship no matter what.

There is nothing bad if interns are treated right and not isolated from good official treatment but then, no one will be forcing their decisions on the other party.

I think for every internship placement, there will always be a description, narrating or explaining everything about that role and from there you would get to know if you will be paid, if you will not and how much.
Even when it is not included in the description and as someone who wants to apply and think you should be paid, all you have to do is ask questions to clear and have answered to your curiosity.

If there's gonna be payment and you're cool with the whole contract after reading very calmly and carefully without skipping any classes then you are good to go and if it's not a payable internship, of which you can't afford to go for, then withdraw your application.

That's the reason why I said we can't literally interfere in their issues cos it is basically like a martial vows of a couple. It all boils down to the intern involved if they're so desperately to learn without earning a kobo or trying to seek for better options of those who would appreciate you for what you're doing. So it may not really be regarded as a matter of exploitation.
