Sacred Moments Should Not Be Defiled

Truly we are in a world where phone usage has become like we breathing in oxygen and breathing out carbondioxide because not using phone for a minute will be like we have fallen sick for a long time not to talk of not having Internet data on our phones. It surely will feel like someone who is in coma with a lifeless body and not functioning in anyway.

With this, almost everyone is so addicted with pressing of phones that we are not even mindful of some certain situations or events where we are not suppose to bring out our phones except an important call that we can't ignore came in.
Most especially we youth of this generation, we are so engrossed with the use of phone that while been talked to by an elder, we may still be seen pressing our phones.

One thing you should know for sure is that I am a fan of pressing phone as well and so I'm not being strange to using of phone at the right time or wrong time if such occurs. I quite understand how it feels when you're so addicted to your phone that it becomes hard for someone to say they want to pocketpick your phone or losing your phone somewhere because you forgot it there but then it becomes kind of annoying to me when you don't know the difference between a social place to press phone from the place of prayer.

Just like as if my dad was in spirit to know that I wanted to write something about phone banning this morning that he unintentionally went against my rule, lol. We were having our morning devotion and his phone rang of which he excused himself to pick his call and after then he could not fully concentrate cos he had to respond to some urgent messages I guess or he got caught up with some popped up messages and that brought about his low response and distraction which only stopped when I opened my eyes to give him a sterning look, lol.

I am someone who easily gets distracted at the slightest thing so I ensure that I am always 100 percent connected whenever I'm about to say my prayers and commune with God. So probably with that feeling, I get to think everyone should remain focused when they are in the place of prayer to pray and besides, it's not quite okay generally to press your phone when doing something of such. It's just like you are greeting or asking your dad for food allowance and you're pressing your phone.

So in my home and family generally, I'm known for not condoning any act of distraction when praying. Not even saying Amen loud and clear is an offense let alone pressing phone so definitely if I would be banning the use of phone officially in my home at a particular time then it will be in the morning during morning devotion and at at night sometimes if it is a general prayer before sleeping.

This is in no way an infringement of right because and none of them would want to make an allegation of such cos I will give you an instant analysis immediately. Those who will serve God will serve him in spirit and in truth and no servant can serve two masters at a time.
