The Consequences of repeating the same mistakes our fathers made

History they say is a great teacher. At least one is expected to learn from the past and not to be seen repeating the same thing over and over again.

From my observation I have come to realize that this generation is about to make the worse mistake ever. Our fathers were victims of the same thing, but I think that I can pardon them because maybe they acted out of ignorant. Hmmm! But from what is happening our generation is going back to what our fathers did that is responding for keeping us where we are today and we are all acting as if it doesn't matter. I kept wondering what will happen to our children and their own children. If the little mistake made by our fathers have created alot of problems for us, what about the one we are making today knowing very well that it is dangerous to us.

WHAT OUR FATHERS DID.
Before now most of our grandfathers were idol worshipers. They did that because that was the only thing that they knew at a time and they never saw the evil behind all of that and they continued until some of them died without fulfilling their vows to the idols that they worshiped and it was automatically transfered to us. For me my parents never knew God until late 80s when they started going to church and decided to abandoned the idols which back fired on them and their children. We had to keep going from one family deliverance to the other and still up till today some of my siblings are still suffering from that. My parents are longe dead now but we are still here yet to settle the problems they brought upon us. I believe that if they had seen into the future they will have avoided most of the things they did in the past and we will not be here today suffering from the consequences of the actions of our fathers and grandfathers.

HISTORY IS REPEATING ITSELF

Because evil shall increase the love of many shall grow cold, so says the Holy Book. Looking at what our young people are engaging themselves into today, I wonder what shall become of their children yet unborn. Week 171 edition 2 says History repeats. That is very correct. Because of the wickedness of men in our world today people have decided to go back to what our fathers dropped behind years back. Some believe that prayers don't work any more. Some also thinks that to wait on God is a waste of time while others don't even believe in the existing of God Almighty. This is the reason why so many people have gone back to worship idols and anything else that can give them what they want especially wealth. Hmmm! I see catastrophe coming ahead. The next generation will not escape the punishment for what we are doing today. Come to think of it, most people are even ripping the fruit of their labor right before they die. This is no longer time for only the children to suffer it, but even the parents have their own share in the punishment before it will be passed to their children yet unborn. This is very terrible because we see them going depper in it every day.

SOLUTION
We need to bear in mind that the enemy of our souls can't give us anything for free. Even if we receive what we want from the evil one, there is still another way for payment. No one should trade his life or the lives of his children yet unborn for anything earthly wealth. All these will pass away, but we will still be here to suffer from the consequences. We need to learn from the past mistakes of our parents.
