Minors should not be treated like adults

Greetings from my humble self to all my wonderful and amazing friends in this community of great minds. As we go on to look at the topic set before us, let's not pretend that we never misbehaved when we were minors. Infact some of us did very terrible things and no one made us face the law meant for adults just to prove a point.

Minors can't be punished as adults because they have not fully understand what life is all about and that is the reason behind their actions in most cases.

Looking at the topic for week 231 episode 3 which happens to be the last topic for the week. I love the fact that we acknowledge that they are Minors first. If we truly agree that they have not gotten to the level of being adults then we need to treat them as such. Minors most times act foolish. The act without thinking and that is why they are always in trouble for some of them who are troublesome. So should we give them the same law when they offend? The answer is no.

Most of us did worse when we were growing up. We got into trouble in several occasions and our parents came through for us. But today we know better and if any of us still act like the way we use to act before now we will be made to face the law. But because we are wiser now we can't go back to Those stuff. What about the minors? They will want to do that which you ask them not to do.

WILL THIS MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE, SEEING THAT THEY ARE STILL KIDS?

guys I believe that there won't be any lesson when a minor face the law meant for adults. The minor will think that you are just punishing him or her. At this stage all they need from us is guidance with love. Making them friends so that it will be easy for us to help them. We need to know that at this stage of their lives they will definitely do things that we don't like. I have seen some minors put in the family way because they are still naive. Sone of them get to regret their actions when they are way older and at that time the did have been done. They only go on and live with the consequences of their deeds.

SOLUTION

When a minor commits a crime, he is she should be given a punishment meant for minors. We should not make them face the law that is meant for adults. I agree that the law needs to catch up with them, but we should consider their age and make a law suitable for them so that they can learn their lessons.

In conclusion, adults are matured and know their left from their rights while Minors don't know this. This is my reason for saying that minors should be made to face the law meant for minors and not the other way round.
