Large family and their wahala.

Family is the only thing that I have seen in this life that you don't choose where you want to come from and who will be your parents, who your siblings will be and even the country you all will come from. This is something that sometimes baffles me because I really wish I have that power to choose who my parents were and who my siblings were. But that is what I have to put up with the rest of my own life. I have also grown to appreciate the fact that I am from that family and also appreciate my own siblings because I still see some people who don't even have one sibling not even to talk about little family of big one. I came from a large family and I think that each family size has its own good and bad.

DIFFERENT FAMILY SIZE A D THEIR ADVANTAGE

Small family size;
I have a neighbor that have only one child. Each time she see my children playing she feels like they should be her siblings. When they were younger she loves coming to play with them. Sometimes she doesn't even want to go home because she don't have anyone to play with. Our people say that people always desire to be where they are not thinking that it is the best place to be. A small size family have their advantages and disadvantages.

Advantages:
They have most of the good things of life to themselves especially the wealthy family. The child/few children don't always lack. Most times they are also given all the attention that makes a child happy. Clothes may not be problem for such families. Money is always there too.

Disadvantages:
Small size family always feel lonely and want more and more people to play with. They tend to stay outside playing with other kids than stay at home and be bored.
When it comes to the parents too, they want more kids. The money may be there but no one to help use them. The loneliness that they feel sometimes can not be replaced by money.

Large size family:
This is the kind of family that I belong. In those days it is a thing of pride for an average African man to have more children. Most of them back then were farmers and they need more children to help them with their farm work. The more children the more money. The man with the highest number of children is regarded as the wealthiest man because they will have more harvest than others. They have enough food from the farm and most times what they lack of cash.

Disadvantages:
There is always fighting in the family. Presently, for some who are not farmers suffer from hunger and can hardly take care of the needs of their children. Some of the children when they grow of with hatred for each other can go as far as killing themselves because of one thing or the other.

MY WISH
I won't lie ohh! In my next world I will not come from Nigeria not to talk of poor family with lots of children that they can't take care of. All my life as far as I can remember, I have struggled to survive. Though I am not angry ohh. I'm happy with everyone around me. But, if I were to choose I won't go there. Hahaha 😂.
