Instincts can mislead sometimes, but God can't

For Week 221: Episode 01: INSTINCT. I love this topic so much that I will love to do a little check on the word Instinct: in a lay man's language this is what I can say happens to us when we fell that something i going to happen, or whenever we sense what others can't see around us. Sometimes it makes us do what we should not do ordinary. When someone says - my instincts tells me this about that person. This is the feeling that you about someone or something and it helps you take decisions sometimes to avert what is about to happen or to unvail what has happened already.

How well do you trust your instinct? On the scale of 10 I will say 5. Haha 😂. I started laughing immediately I wrote that 5. Does that means I don't trust m instincts? No. I do. But for the fact that I am human I neto realize that sometimes we mix human feelings with our instincts and we are lwad stray when that happens. I need to check and check again to make sure is not what my mind is telling me that I am believing and call it my instincts.

With limited information, can you simply go with your gut on something, knowing it will work out for you?

Like I stated above, i always remember that I am human and can make mistakes sometimes in my judgement about something or someone, because of that when I don't have enough information about something or someone, I trade with carefulness and ask questions again and again to know what to bel. When my instincts tells me something I already said is 5% I give to it. The remaining 5% I use it to consult the holy Spirit. I believe that the Spirit of God knows all truth and things. O also believe that if the Spirit is leading me i won't make any mistakes. So instead of trusting my instincts with all my heart I take time to consult the holy Spirit who dwells in me and knows everything that is happening around me. I just trust his judgement ad follow as directed.

Do you use this when dealing with people?
I have seen myself go wrong not just once. In fact I can even count the number of times I have failed and make people mock at God because said the wrong thing thinking is the right thing to say or do. when dealing with people outside I allow God who knows them more than they know themselves to reveal to me every truth to me and that is enough for me. Sometimes when God show me something I will see it different from what my instincts told m and sometimes it will be the same thing.

What if your instincts end up being wrong?

If my instincts fails me, that will help me rely on God the more because a not God that knows everything. It will only help me become a better version of myself
