I CAN'T SHARE MY PRIVACY WITH ANYONE.
Hello friends, welcome back to my blog for today. I'm so excited to have us back. I don't think that my dream job is just in the hands of a particular individuals. If I didn't get it in this company definitely there will be another company or organization that will be willing to take me tomorrow.
This is not actually fear. I have watched it in a movie before where an employee was asked to submit all her social media handles just because of a Job. How can this be a way to ensure the image of the organization? I don't think it. All that matters is that there should be a law. Maybe something that will make an employee not to use that organization in their social media. Let's say that the company or organization don't want to hear me talk about what they do online or even using to to create traffic for myself. That is all that is needed. There should be a signed documents that will cover that aspect between the employee and the employer.
Well I don't blame them because they think that there is no job, so because of that people can just do anything because they want to get a job. When I went back to school, I promise myself that I won't have to go from office to office just in search of a job. I really wanted to work but maybe create one for myself that someone will not talk to me anyhow or dictate my life for me because he or she pays me at the end of the month. I can't see that happening. We live in a generation where people will have to do anything just because they need a job.
All thanks to our social media today. One can just create for himself a job that will pay well online without going to beg for job or do things that is not good because of a job or what do we even call it? Today people create content and in fact some that I have seen online creating content are making it very well and no one tells them what to do or when to do it.
They just know the right thing to do. As long as they are creating good content, they make money. So, I would rather create a job for myself online that swallow all manner of rubbish just because I am working under someone who is too demanding. Where ever I go now and see our youths I encourage them to do something meaningful online for themselves. They don't need to finish studies tomorrow and begin to go round and beg for jobs and then have someone tell them to submit what they don't wish to submit. This will bring us relief here.
In conclusion I want to say that I vehemently disagree with sharing or submitting my social media handles with anyone in the name of work or protecting the image of the company.

I don't think social media is private enough to keep sensitive personal materials. In as much as we own the personal account, it is important to note individuals can still reach out data.
In today's world, social media platform like LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram are added to the resumé when we seek for high profile jobs.

Is it me that's getting it wrong? I think the submission here is just the handle for them to the person's page. Except in a situation where a person locked his or her profile, anyone can view posts in someone's page though
My only sentiment is that if the job doesn't require that the person posts company details and things like that, then the person should be let alone to run their page.
I somehow understand that people can be terrible with what they put out online, but getting their handles and monitoring their pages not change their mindsets and characters. It will only stifle them from putting it online.
I agree with your point that employers think that nowadays people do not have jobs, so they will do anything to get a job. This is the thinking of some employers. But giving your privacy to someone else can be dangerous.
