Cash is gradually fading away.

This is week 227 episode 2. Cash or Digital? Hmmm! I believe that everyone will serve it's purpose when adopted and each one will come with advantages and disadvantages of it's own.

TAKE THEM ONE AT A TIME

CASH: The era of cash is here and if you ask me is moving away very fast. Nothing stays here forever. Good people come and go. Even the bad ones come and also go. Before it was only coin and now we have paper and we are okay with that. Next it will be that people don't go around with cash again. With cash everyone will know that you have money. Sometimes people carry around bag of Ghana must go filled with money because they have no option. Like myself when am traveling and I have cash on me. I try to get a smaller bag that will enter my pulse so that people won't easily dictate that I am moving around with money. That is the bad side of it. I remember those days that people carry bags of money every where especially when they are traveling to buy goods in another state. So many of them lost their money to thieves on the way because when robbers attack them they go away with the money.

The good side of it is that you don't have any problem with network especially when you want to do transfer. You have your cash and can use it to buy anything anywhere. And is so sweet that you have money and can use it when you want.

DIGITAL
The digital money is very good too, just that when we also look at the bad side of it we will understand that life is not too balance. Just go with whatever situation you find yourself. At least people won't be seen everywhere with lots of cash or bags of money buying things in the market. But we also know that network is not guaranteed 247. Sometimes we have good network and sometimes it gets too bad that we want to cry. Hmmm! Last time in Nigeria when there was shortage of cash and most people resolved to be using the digital one, people suffered, people lost their money, POS guys cheated on people. In fact a lot of water went through the bridge. By then alot of people can see their digital money and yet can't have access to it. Is not every country that will enjoy it. Other developed countries might not have problems with going only digital when it comes to money. But the under developed countries still struggling will suffer it. You will notice that people will have money in their app or bank and because of a network issues will go to bed hungry if possible for days. For some that will even try to make a transaction and won't get what they want because the seller did not get alert of the money sent.

In summary, every era is good and can't be replaced by another one. Once that era is gone we face another one with whatever that comes with it. We are gradually leaving the era of Cash and moving to the era of digital money
