White Lies; The Seeker Of Peace.

There are some inevitable things in life that we just have to undergo in one way or another. If someone passes through those things, then I can say they are divine souls, but we are just ordinary humans; we have no choice but to undergo them.

One of the most certain things is death, we are all going to die someday, somehow or somewhere. It’s something everyone has to pass through. Our cause of it might be different, but we can’t escape it.

Another thing is our emotions. There are times when we experience happiness and times when we experience sadness. No one has ever been sad in this life; it's a rare occurrence. Our level of sadness and happiness will just vary.

Another thing we have to pass through is the battle between truth and lies. There are situations that warrant that you just have to tell the truth to get out of the situation, and there are some times when you just have to tell a lie to save the day.

So I think this is where the aspect of the so-called “white lies” comes into play. Times when you just have to lie to make peace reign. It is most risky when you have to tell the truth in some cases, when you know that the outcome will go beyond what one can handle.

For instance, between a couple, there were instances where a question was asked, and then maybe the victim knew that if they were to say the truth and come out honest in that case, then the relationship would be gone for good. The best thing they could do is to save the relationship and find a way out of such situations.

What I will advise is that telling those lies shouldn’t become a part of us; it should just be something that happens once in a while, and when we are left with no choice.

When telling lies becomes a part of us, be it white lies or red lies (lying), then we are bound to lose our self-respect in almost everything we do and every situation we find ourselves in. When you are being tagged as a liar, you can hardly gain the trust of others; people won't even believe your words and actions anymore.

I remember a story I read when I was younger in elementary school. The story impacted my life positively, and since then, I have always tried to practice it in my everyday life.

The story was about a man who lived in a small village. One night, he came out on the street and started shouting Lion! Lion! Lion!. Everyone came out to rescue him, but in the end, there was no lion.

He did that again several other times, and then people came out, but reduced. Then, finally, one day he was attacked by a real lion, and then he screamed and screamed, but no one came to his rescue. Everyone thought it was a lie. Not until the next day did they find his dead body lying on the street.

That’s surely what one will gain from lying. So lying is not something fun, but some situations will warrant us to tell lies to make peace reign. So there are reasons when we can tell lies, and they could be justifiable.

Inarguably, wether we like it or not, death will surely come for us. thats why we need to keep our hands clean and make a legacy to be remembered by

White, pink or blue, a lie is a lie.
Do you that the heavens will not fall if we tell the truth?
In the end, what was hidden would soon be in the public eye and whoever has presented it as a lie will just have to cover his or her face.
