Stigma From Poverty

Only God can help. In this life, you can’t tell who truly loves you and those who don’t. Humans' minds are so deep that even with the most magnifying microscope, you can’t see what’s in their hearts. It’s only a matter of time before they begin to unveil their true intentions toward you.

Those you think loved you for who you are might not be the ones who truly loved you, but those you thought didn't have any concern for you might eventually be the ones who loved you the most.

One thing I have realized about the nature of humans is that we are most times attached to something or someone for a reason. Though there might be other reasons, there is most of the time a reason that outweighs the other.

You might love, like, or appreciate someone for their beauty, their character, their attitude, abilities, wealth, and many other reasons. But the bitter truth is that when those things are no more, then you will hardly find those who claim to be around you vanish far away from you.

Money as a case study. When you are rich, don’t think everyone around you respects and loves you for who you are. Nop. You will even see those who are elderly than you pay maximum respect and submission to you. You are not the one they are respecting or submissive to, but the money you have.

So if mistakenly you are not in the position of wealth that you once were, no doubt you will lose all of those things you got when you were. The same thing goes for power, knowledge, wisdom, beauty and a lot more.

The Stigma From Poverty.

It’s still fair enough to be poor and in poverty, not wealthy, and you don’t have many people flocking around you. You only have those of your level around you. Not bad. There is still hope of climbing the ladder of wealth. That’s a turnaround from worst to better.

But the worst nightmare is for those who are once wealthy enough, have A lot of people surrounding them, those who have tasted the sweetest things in their lifetime, and those who have what they wanted done when they want it. Then all of a sudden things turned around. Finding themselves in such situations would surely bring about the greatest pain and stigma in their life.

Most people who experience this kind of trauma get sick of existence. And end up leaving the world untimely. Only a few people have the mindset of rising again after such a fall and it’s not an easy one.

I have witnessed a close person who has been in this situation. He was not so wealthy but at least he had a good life. People moved around him and he was so generous with his money. Happiness overflowed in their home and everyone around them was always happy.

But all of a sudden things changed. I don’t really know what happened but there was no money as it used to be. The funniest thing is that people began to leap backward from their homes.

The stigma set in and it started to become obvious that things have changed. All we heard was that he just survived a near-death experience. He got high blood pressure from overthinking. Everyone had to contribute to him just to overcome the situation.

That was how hard it was to fall, but it only took the courageous ones to get back up again.

One way to overcome such stigma is to try working against all odds and keep in mind that all conditions are temporary. At least it won’t come as a shock.

Another way is to avoid putting all eggs in one basket having multiple sources of income and not just being dependent on a single source. Once you are wealthy, the battle is not over but you have to try to maintain that zone or get better.

You said it is fair to be poor, not in this generation. People treat poverty like a disease.

I have seen people in this category and the way people suddenly start ignoring them is heartbreaking. Humans can be cruel and most people only cling unto rich people because of what they get from them.

Yeah that’s why I said “fair” and not good. It’s not something to wish for. But become rich and experiencing poverty afterwards is nothing to write home about.

The Stigma From Poverty.

In the case of the stigma of poverty, there are also those people who manage to get out of poverty, but many people will judge this person by what means he managed to get where he is, envy takes hold of many, and the best thing to do is to get out of that place and not look back. Because people can't recognize an equal who has come out of the same place as you and is in a better position than you.

Sometimes when you have nothing , that’s when you see peoples true colors.

Once you have money, you’re everyone’s friend but once you have nothing it’s a different story.

The worst that can happen to a person is having before and all of a sudden, things changed in a worse way. Some people will even start saying things they do not verify like he or she isn't pure and all sorts. But when such a thing happen to an individual, it's best to believe and hope things will definitely take a good turn and that all problems are not permanent.
