Science: AI Is Going Way Too Far.

Science and technology have been a part of humanity for a long time now, which is why we just have to appreciate its existence too. It has brought ease (blessings) and also dangers (curses) to human existence. But still, we just can't shy away from the reality that hits us. Without science, the human race might find it difficult to have made it this far.

There are times when I just think about the way things were done traditionally compared to the way we have things done nowadays. In those times when people just get married without knowing their compatibility. Then they get to experience predestined child death they call “abiku”. Meanwhile, in the real sense, it is not a mythical occurrence but just because of our genetic match-up.

Science brought that to light and made us realize the impact of genetics on our existence. Apart from that aspect, it has also touched human existence in many ways. In terms of transportation, communication, hospitality, education, agriculture, and a lot more.

Science and research have continued and will surely continue. I am not sure when science will end its research on innovation and invention. It has indeed brought about so many good things rather than bad.

I just can’t forget my experience with the MRI machine in the hospital when my brother was ill. The MRI did a perfect job of detecting the fault in the body system. I can't say much about technology, but I am sure science and technology work hand in hand.

The question is what if science went too far?

Unquestionably, we all know that science indeed has been taking its leap too far with the innovative idea of AI. Artificial Intelligence was once a fictional foresight years back. We only see them happening in movies and not even thought they might come to reality.

But scientists never stopped researching, every day was another day for them to hit their goals. They got closer and closer till they accomplished the invention of AI. Now the use of AI started up gradually, with just a little impact on humanity but gradually AI has been taking over.

I watched a video about Artificial Intelligence being installed into human systems. How crazy. Not that we would only have them in their world again. But they will have to even mingle with the human mind and brain.

It is a chip that is inserted into the human system and then the intelligence system will try as much to detect what the human is about to think and carry out the operation as programmed. So with time won’t human sense become dormant and of no use to humans anymore?? When AI gets almost everything done.

In conclusion, there are surely disadvantages and advantages to everything. Science is well appreciated and welcomed. But there should be limits, there should be a gap between nature and artificial existence.

This is my response to the HIVE LEARNERS weekly prompt in the hive-learners community for the Week 170 Edition 3, and the topic to be discussed is SCIENTIFIC LEAPS.

You just nailed it dear, sign is driving too fast in other to invent the unimaginable, I feel we should try as much as possible to maintain our limits as humans to avoid having more issues then we can bear

AI is just running crazy these days.

I once heard a conspiracy theory about Coca Cola putting micro chips in their drinks so that anyone who takes their drinks would have a chip in them which would make tracking them very easy

I agree with you — science is essential, but we need to be mindful of its limits so that it keeps serving humanity, not the other way around.
