Our Children Are Suffering…
I was caught up in a conversation with my mum and a worker who came to do some work in our area. He tends to be a good customer and has a close relationship with us. The conversation was all about child abuse. I wasn’t interested in it in the first place because I don't want to dive into such a conversation if there is no way out.
He ranted about one of his neighbors, she got a child living with her, and then the child has been in the custody of hell ever since she came to live there. All of the neighbors witnessed when the child came in the first place, said to be good-looking and well cared for. No one knew the reason why she happened to journey down to the woman’s place.
After a few months, the neighbors had to report the case to human rights. I think that's the last resolution they can make. Since they’ve tried every possible option and nothing has worked out. She claims she is the child's mother and that the children have always been wrong.
The little girls were about 15 years old and suffered hell from the woman. The twist of fate was that somehow, the good-looking girl became so unkept, and all of her skin was filled with scars. Every moment is a moment of war between them. She will beat the child into a stupor and then punish it with punishment.
I wonder what to call such a soul. The community reported her to human rights, and you might think things will get better, but I won't lie, there was no response. I guess they were not stable enough to be attended to, or their case just seems fragile to human rights. They overlooked it.
The child has been there with a continuous painful existence. She never knew who to blame, even if she should regret. I just try putting myself in her shoes. A child who lost her caring parents to the cold hands of death had her fate intertwined right before her face; should she run far away? Or just give up on life?
These are what children have been facing in different homes, and nothing is being done. They get to become working tools, sex tools, hauling loads, errands in traffic, and many more of it. Yet if these children were cared for, then they wouldn't have felt it so bad.
I was on TikTok a few days ago, and saw a few children taking some spoonfuls of food to survive. Felt so emotional, I knew that wasn’t normal. I checked the page and realized that it was an orphanage home. Many other children are just struggling to survive. They all have their dreams and aspirations, too, and hopefully, life turns out well for them.
Many other children out there, witnessing one or two. Even when you travel and get to the bus garage, you will find several children begging for what to eat. Is this how they get to live their everyday life? Where are their parents? Do they even have a shelter? How many clothes do they have? This is the way of some children in my country.
Even those with parental care are still struggling. Not to talk of those without it. I can't blame the country for not providing adequate child care, when there is no one to fight for the rights of children, then they just have to fight for their lives.
I hope someday our dear country will see the inner cry and pain children are facing each day and find an adequate solution to it. It's not just about creating or naming an organization for child service, but it's all about having a functioning service.

What a sad story! I hope that your father's situation improves and that the child custody laws work. In my country there are also cases like this, I think in smaller numbers. The problem is the excess of laws that, instead of helping, in many cases get in the way.
It’s so pathetic. That we have to face all of these despite having a system.

These are questions I asked myself everytime I see them. They even come to the party to beg for leftover's food, some of them eat there while some pack the food home to their parents. So horrible!

Some people are just wicked, normally. Why would you make up your mind to torment a kids life? If the system was working, this child would not even spend another day with this woman .
💯. Even with the case down to human rights. They never cared. So pathetic she had to pass through such at the early stage of her life.

This is really a sad story. Just look at what these little girls had to pass through. Its high time the system do something about child abuse

Human rights are always there to help in this condition or situation. Beating a child that much is not the best, and at the same time, human rights not responding is not the best. This will make them give up in the team of life.
It's better the government does something about this issue.
