This sculpture being found in the middle of busy city of Orchad Road , SIngpore that being made by Chong Fah Cheong (2015) . Budak budak was mean children for local language and check the eplaination about this sulcpture below .
This sculpture depicts four energetic budak-budak (children) playing together. There of them are pushing and hoisting their friend onto an enormous Kamcheng. The Kamcheng reflects the Peranakan heritage of Chee Family , who commissioned the Heeren (1996)
A kamcheng is traditional Peranakan covered porcelain jar used to store food. It often seres as a precious family heirloom which is symbolizes the wisdom , culture and assets that are carefully passed down from generation to generation.
The children , with their boundless energy , represent the trailblazers of the next generation.
