Many of those living in Cuba today seem to navigate a series of constant crossroads, as if moved by threads or timeless lines that vanish into the horizon—stretching toward one cardinal point or another, regardless of the city where their shadows or footsteps happen to be caught. The buildings, like living beings paused in time, watch them in silence.

You can step out onto the balconies and gaze upon the understated elegance of centuries-old structures, standing with noble dignity as they endure the passage of time...

Churches or temples, witnesses to deserted streets, yet with glimpses of life on the cornices. Plants claiming the tiniest of spaces to survive...

Buildings with boarded-up windows and doors, enclosing spaces where the undergrowth takes hold—as if concealing or protecting something timeless...

Trees as neighbors—curiously devoid of flowers, as if lacking color—offering only contrasts against what was once a city of lights, now... frozen in time.

Muchos de los que viven en Cuba hoy día parecen transitar entre encrucijadas continuas, como si estuviesen movidos por hilos o líneas atemporales que se pierden en el horizonte hacia un punto cardinal u otro sea cual fuere la ciudad donde queden atrapadas sus sombras o pasos. Los edificios, como seres con vida en pausa, en silencio les observan.

Puedes asomarte a los balcones y contemplar la sobriedad de construcciones centenarias con su plena hidalguía sobreponiéndose al tiempo...

Iglesias o templos, testigos de calles desiertas, pero con atisbos de vida en las cornisas. Plantas que conquistan el mínimo espacio para sobrevivir...

Edificios con sus ventanas y puertas tapiadas, limitando espacios donde la maleza se impone como quien oculta o protege lo atemporal...

Árboles como vecinos, curiosamente sin flores, como si no tuviesen colores, solo contrastes de lo que fuera una ciudad con luces y ahora... detenida en el tiempo.
