Today was another wet day. The rain started early - in the wee hours of the morning, and refused to let up till noon. Grey sky, wet road, and... cold. You know that kind of cold that makes you pull your shoulders in, that's it.
I managed to get to the office and settled in for the days grind. During break, I went to the Flour materials market, along Market road, to grab a few things.
While waiting my turn, I spotted these guys with their stock balanced on their heads. As they moved, they made a kind of call-out sound, attracting the attention of people. Their action perfectly depicted this popular slang "carry your market for head." Lol.
These mobile vendors have ecome a popular trend here. These vendors no longer wait for customers to come meet them at their clusters at Ngwá Road market, rather, they take their collections to the streets, to the people right at their doorsteps, under the sun or in the rain. Talk about aggressive marketing, this is it.
Honestly, these guys always showcase beautiful sample wears,
completely locally made. I heard that the clothes are quite affordable. I quickly took some shots before they moved farther away.

Honestly, these guys are doing great and I commend this move. Anyhow, the bags must be filled.
And that's a wrap. Do you see this where you live - vendors carrying mannequins with clothes on their heads?p.

These are real hustlers, meeting buyers at their homes, not waiting again for them to come to their stalls at the markets.
Some impromptu buyers will just grab these wears and they will end up making more sells and more money than those sitting in one place waiting for customers. Good idea!
Exactly, these vendors are real hustlers. Their activities are a typical example of "adịghị anọ ofu ebe ekili mmanwu" 😂

Yes oooo, and they're making more money daily!
This is an exact depiction of what determination looks like. No matter the tides, those who will make hay, will. Thank you for capturing these lovely photos with a lesson for all.

The feeling of having a great rainy day is unmatchable, but it just comes with its own baggage. For example whenever it rains our electricity just spoils, it's almost inevitable, and whenever it rains we know it will happen
That was the case here before, but since we started getting power supply from the Geometric, light has been a bit stable. Like today, there's been power supply since morning till now. It's even raining at the moment and there's light. But na our money dey go o. 😂

Where we live the mobile sellers are more those selling produce, bread, and ice-cream but not that modality. They are doing a good job to earn their bread honestly.

That's lovely. At least, there are mobile sellers in your city, irrespective of what they sell.
