Crows And Caws! - PhotoFeed Contest Wildlife Photography 160
Yesterday morning brought an unusual start. In fact nature handed me a bunch of surprises!
First, I witnessed an unusual occurrence - the sun rising beside the moon, though it was faint. I can't remember seeing or hearing about such occurrence before, so I was kinda surprised, and same time excited about witnessing such a rare celestial moment. I shared it in this post
And here's another interesting one!
While out in field for work, I stumbled upon two pied crows hanging out at a water tank stanchion at a school compound. Their "caw-caw" sound filled the air, as if they were announcing my arrival. 😂
I stopped in my track to take photos of them, while hoping for a moment to snap them flying up in the sky.
As if on cue, they flew up, and immediately, other crows showed up from everywhere. This time, their "caw caw" increased, and it was as if they were announcing the school's break time to the neighbourhood, or maybe calling out to their crew. It was around 11:29 AM WAT, the students were out playing, the crows were up there flying wild and free. Looking at the scene, one would think that they were joining in on the break. Lol. It was an interesting sight to watch.
Well, I managed to capture a few shots before they flew farther into the sky!
Yesterday was indeed one of a kind: witnessing the morning sun and moon together, plus the crows flying overhead was a big deal for me, although some persons would think otherwise. Only nature lovers would understand. Lol. At the end, I felt happy and grateful to experience it. You know, one doesn't get that chance every day!
