When Winter Still Tried: A Love Letter to Snow Days of 2021
Throwback to January 2021: the forests were blanketed in snow, the world looked like a holiday postcard, and my iPhone stepped up like a budget superhero to capture it all. Spent the day trudging through the cold, feeling like Ansel Adams with an app store, snapping shots and soaking in the magic of winter.
Fast forward to 2025, and snow now makes guest appearances for hours at a time, barely long enough for a snowball fight or an Instagram post. The last one gave us 5mm of slush and dipped faster than my New Year’s resolutions.
Hoping for another proper snow day this year so I can relive the adventure and not just sit here, staring out the window like a washed-up adventurer who peaked in ’21. Nature, do your thing.
