Our Monthly Coffee Catch-Up: Choco Hazelnut Latte, Coffee Jelly, and Comfort Food in Kapètera!☕️

Hello to all of my friends here and of course to all my dear fellow hivers in this lovely @cinnamoncupcoffee community! How are you all today? I hope everyone is doing well and happy right now. Here I am again, @lj1728 to share another simple coffee story with you all.☕️💕

Today I'm sharing another simple coffee date with my bff. If you've read my previous blog, you probably know that we try to have a coffee date at least once every month. It's our little way of catching up, relaxing, and taking a break from our busy routines. Nothing fancy, just good coffee, good food, and meaningful conversations.

This time we decided to go to our favorite spot, Kapètera. I really like this place because it's just near our house, so it's very convenient for us. We don't need to travel far, and sometimes we even walk if the weather is nice. Another reason why I love Kapetera is that most of their food and drinks are homemade. You can really taste the difference, and everything feels warm and comforting. And the lovely decorations they have like coffee beans, coffee french press, and even books.

When we arrived, the place was calm and cozy as usual. It was already late afternoon, so the atmosphere felt even more relaxing. Of course, we ordered our usual favorites. Lately, I've been loving their choco hazelnut latte, so that's what I ordered again. The combination of chocolate and hazelnut with coffee is just perfect for me, not to sweet and very satisfying! My bff, on the other hand, ordered coffee jelly, which she always enjoys whenever we come here.

Since it was already late in the afternoon, we decided to just have our early dinner there as well. Instead of going somewhere else, we thought it would be easier and more relaxing to stay and enjoy the food. We ordered some of our favorite rice meals, including Tapsilog and Pork Tonkatsu, which is one of their best sellers. The serving was generous, and the flavor was really good. We also added fries on the side, which made the meal even better.

As always, our coffee date turned into a long conversation about life, work, family, and some random things that made us both laugh. Simple coffee dates like this may seem small, but they are always something we look forward to every month.
