A Sip of Happiness: Coffee and Unwinding Time, a Perfect Pause After Mall Day with Family

Hello, Hivers! It's been a week that I have not posted here on hive. How's everyone? Hope all are in good shape. Sharing this family bonding with you.

After hours of walking through the mall, getting lost in the maze of stores, admiring displays, and making spontaneous stops to check out items we didn’t even plan to buy, my son, daughter-in-law, nephew and I knew it was time for a well-deserved break. We decided to change location and made our way to Souq Madinat in Jumeirah 15-minute drive from the mall. We strolled around the place and saw Costa Coffee. We walked straight to the coffee shop, a commonplace and warm spot where the aroma of freshly brewed coffee instantly welcomed us. We chose a cozy corner, then realized that our background was the amazing Burj Al Arab. We placed our shopping bags by our feet and let out a sigh of relief. We are only a few inside, most customers chose to stay outside the lounge enjoying the open air.

We felt how good it was to simply sit down, sip something cold, and be together. We enjoyed every sip of coffee, savor the creamy latte, hibiscus tea, and cold black brew. While having our coffee and tea we talked about the funny moments we had at the mall, like getting lost and arguing which way we would go and debating over which store had the best deals. Our laughter filled the air, blending perfectly with the gentle banging of cups while the coffee tasted so good. It was the company that made the moment unforgettable because these ordinary days turned into cherished memories. I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude for these moments of bonding with my son, daughter-in-law and nephew realizing that happiness isn’t found in grand events, but in a simple shared pause where coffee is in our hands. Reminding that these are the sips of happiness you’ll hold onto forever.

Costa Coffee also offers Sandwiches and wraps from classic toasties to chicken fajitas The pastries and cakes are also mouth-watering treats. The whole coffee beans are available in their Signature Blend. Tumblers with different colors and designs were displayed at the door entrance.

These are the views outside the Costa Coffee in Souq Madinat Jumeirah. Traditional Arabian architecture surrounds the area with lush greenery giving the whole place a sense of calmness. The Burj AL Arab stands tall like a celebrity photobomb.

With this kind of view the coffee tastes even better. The background where we settled having our coffee, The Burj Al Arab, Dubai's most iconic hotel and famous tourist destination.
