Unplugged: Life without Gadgets

This is an interesting topic that piqued my interest when I saw this in this community and I would love to share my ideas and opinions about it.

Most of us or all of us rely on these gadgets like TV, smart phones, and stuffs because they are very convenient and easy to use. I mean who doesn't want to have a comfortable life using these gadgets, well not for me because it made me happy every day for using it.

In my place, there were times that there is a power interruption or a power blackout because of the line that connected to the power was being repaired and it will took a day to repair and sometimes it will took only for a few hours. There were times that there is a sudden power interruption I would make myself busy by talking with my friends, families, and playing with myself.

For those times that there were no power that gadgets are not useful anymore because there's no battery and also no power to generate to open the TV and other stuffs. I would usually go outside because I know that it's really hot inside the house that even if I stayed for maybe 5 minutes, I can feel the hotness of the sunny weather because we live in the Philippines that the weather is really hot. I would play something that would interests me if there's no power. We have a small billiards here that I can play together with my family and sometimes my friends even if I only knew a few rules about billiards. Also, watching the players that playing billiards interests me because it's amazing on how they do a trick shot on shooting the ball.

If I am done with playing and watching billiard game, maybe I would go to the playground and play in the playground because our playground is surrounded by lots of big trees around it and we can feel the fresh air from it, so going there is the best way to enjoy myself and at the same time, to entertain myself because there are lots of things that we can do in the playground like playing swings, slides, seesaw, or maybe playing basketball.

After I am bored on playing in the playground, sleeping is the best way to kill time and it's my last resort when there is no power in our place because whenever I will sleep, the time will surely pass and when I wake up, there will be a power and I will continue on doing stuffs on my gadgets.

Thoughts:

For me, I can't resist on not touching any of the gadgets in an hour or even a minute because I'm used on using them every hour and every minute. It's really challenging for me without using these gadgets for a long time.
