My first hack is turning off my phone notifications with the help of my phone's "focus mode." I have a lot of apps registered in the focus mode setting, and once it's turned on, all those apps go silent until the focus mode is turned off again.

A downloaded movie won't suddenly switch up on you, halfway into watching, because service went down. Same for a downloaded song and a YouTube video. They are ready for you anytime and anywhere. I'm probably so in love with downloading, because I enjoy seeing my battery percentage crawl it's way to low battery. And switching off my data when I do things like watching movies or videos I've downloaded. It has helped me achieve this.

Receiving movies from someone also helps save money, especially the money that would have been spent on data to download them. This is one reason I encourage people to download movies. For example, when I watched Alchemy of Souls, I got it from someone who had already downloaded and saved it on her phone. It was a stress-free experience, I didn’t have to worry about data costs to download the next season or the next episodes.
