Some people on Hive are wedded to just one interface or DApp. They make it their comfort zone and never leave it. And that's fine if it satisfies you or makes you happy. However, if you want to explore or maximize your impact and earnings on Hive, you must learn to use the main DApps to take advantage of the benefits each offers.
These benefits can include tokens, promotion, upvotes, features, etc. Regarding monetization, you must understand that each interface has its own curation group that only votes on content posted from its platform. Therefore, aligning your content with the DApp that best suits it is vital.
For example:
These are the most specific and will help you maximize that type of content. For blogs and short content, you have three platforms: Peakd, Ecency, and Inleo.
Using one of these depends on your preferences and comfort level when working with them.
As for what each one offers:
For short-form content, choosing between Snaps, Waves, or Threads can be difficult. My recommendation is to use all three.
Waves and Snaps use the comment rewarder system, so all rewards are shared among users who comment and receive votes from their respective communities.
I was surprised to receive such a good reward when participating in Waves.
Waves (ecency) has an app, so it may be simpler and more intuitive to use. Snaps (peakd) and Threads (inleo) are used from the websites of their respective platforms.
So, to maximize engagement and earnings, it's important to create content across all three short-form content platforms. For long-form content, choose the platform carefully based on the content of your post, the niche you want to target, and your personal tastes and interests.

Posted Using INLEO
That is an interesting view of things. Well, I started using #Ecency because it is the one I find more intuitive, in recent days I learned the basics of how to use #InLeo, so #Peakd is the one I still need to learn about.
Guess you are right, we need to diversify a bit to reach maximum impact.
I started with peakd, I love it, but then Ecency Points utility drag me on and finally switch to Inleo for the LEO tokens.
Now I use Ecency App for comments, Curation and explore posts. INLEO for the threads and Posting and will use peakd again for Snaps and some Curation.
Liketu always for my "Instagram" posts.

For the foreseeable future I plan to start using Liketu, I mean, all Dapps are similar to some extent.
I use snaps, leo and waves. For specific content, I use community.
That's the way.

i have never used ecency frontend before, after your post, went to check it. i don't see an option for tags like peakd have. do we not need tags there?
You can use tags or hashtags, only write the # before the word ... Example
#sunday
