THE HANGING PUPPET

THE HANGING PUPPET WITH BLUE BURMESE TRADITIONAL OUTFIT

I found this interesting hanging puppet just outside one of the temples in Bagan, Myanmar. It was being sold as a souvenir for the tourists that come to those temples. This doll was made by the locals for a marionette puppet performance, where the performer used the string attached to it to move it around. It was also called'Yoke The'or i in Burmese, the small ople. It was an interesting doll, but at the same time, I feel creepy because somehow I can feel that the puppet has its own life and smiling to me.
