Before anything else if you are new to my blogs and want to know what "Pitik Photography Shots" is then read my blog about "Pitik Photography" here

Hello everyone! It's another day and it's another walk again for me. While walking I will always bring my Panasonic Lumix FZ80 with me so I can take random shots at people or take shots from people who asks me to take a picture of them.

Today is a special edition and it's unlike me to post all pictures of the same person/thing. This is my entry to the POBphotocontest for this week which the theme is "Water" by @friendlymoose which you can read here.

My subject for today is this fisherwoman fishing. Now you might not be able to tell because of the angle of the shot which is the sideview and the back view but I can't help it since that's the only available angle I was able to get due to the location. Since she was in the middle of the sea I'm sure you can guess I can't just turn around and picture her I mean I could but the zoom of my camera wouldn't be enough to capture her up close and personal like my shots now.

Anyways I choose her as my subject coz it's very rare that I see a fisherman use a boat, catch fish using a fishing pole, fish in the middle of the sea and it's a woman to boot! I have seen fishermen use a fishing pole before but only in the wharf that I usually walk by every morning and afternoon. This was the first time I saw someone fishing in the middle of the sea with a fishing pole so I was amazed by the moment. I'm sure to most of you guys this is a "normal" thing but to me it was something new.

At first I was at her side angle which was closest to the wharf so I can take close up shots at her but then I decided to move backward into the wharf at her back angle so I can capture her with the background of houses at the sea shore. Now you might be wondering why I didn't choose the picture with the background as the entry picture since it has a very nice composition to it. My reasoning was because the first photo that I got, which I really wanted to portray, was to capture her motion. If you look closely at the first photo, it might be hard to see but she was holding her fishing pole in her hand. The fishing pole was bent in an arc position portraying that she is throwing her fishing pole forward towards the water. I really wanted to freeze that moment but since it was a little late in the afternoon and I can't use a higher shutter speed to freeze the motion. So I decided to just take the shot, see how it goes and boom the very first shot was the perfect shot that I really wanted.

It was a very rare occurence that I got a perfect shot at the very first try lol even with a lower shutter speed I was able to capture the motion at the right time when she stopped her hand or else there would also be motion blur in her hand too. It was really a perfect shot for me and that is why I wanted to share it to you guys. I hope you guys like and enjoy these photos :) till next time cheers!

Nice submission for the #pobphotocontest.
The question is; did she catch any fish? πŸ˜„

I honestly don't know if she caught any fish but from what I've heard that's her livelihood and not just a hobby so I'm guessing she did πŸ˜… since she looks like a pro going at it. I didn't stick too long there to be honest. If I were to guess I would say 5 minutes max since I was still doing my afternoon photo walk during that time. I was just fascinated by her really πŸ₯°
