Ears on the ground and listen to what's coming... Listen to the signs... Today, I didn't have a clear idea of what to write, so I went to reply to some comments and to check some blog posts from my fellow Hivians... As usual, that worked out and here we are with the topic that is a combination of one specific comment, and one of the post ideas that I have stored in my phone's notes for these days... Two things were pointed out in the same direction... If you ask me, that's a sign to write/talk about it...
Firstly, I want to thank @stresskiller for his comment on my #HivePUD post, which was a trigger idea for this one... Btw. When you see that big Ecency banner that your post is supported by Ecency, don't forget to check out the comment UNDER that banner... and of course, to reply to it! Usually, it's not a generic comment, but a genuine comment from a curator!
Secondly, I have the note/title on my phone that said: "Relax, Have Fun!" Why's that? This idea is inspired (not sure if I can say it like that) by very common comments that I can hear, during the #HHHLive shows, or in different Discord servers about HIVE... It usually says something like this:
What do I have to do on HIVE to get more upvotes?
Why does nobody upvote my posts?
How can I attract big curation projects to support my content?
Do I have to reply to the comments on my post?
etc.
I mean, they are questions like any other... They may look as crucial for your existence, but... Did you ask Mark Zuckerberg what you have to do with your FB or IG account? I suppose not... š
On the other side, the blogging part of the HIVE ecosystem is a social media platform, and the main emphasis is on the COMMUNITY... NONE of those questions involve community at all! The growth without the community is almost impossible, and focusing only on YOURSELF will not lead you too far...
Instead of replying to those questions, I try to "redirect" and change the mindset of the person who asks them in a more important direction... I have probably mentioned that many times (especially recently), but HIVE isn't as complicated as it looks like...
It's always the same thing... Instead of focusing on what you can't control (upvotes by others), focus on what you can control (quality of content, interaction, engagement)! And to be honest, I make this mistake many times! Keeping my focus on things out of my control...
What do you do on social media networks? You create content that you would like to be seen by others, which brings value to others... You check other content that is from your interests, from your "niche"... You are fine with spending time on that because you LIKE IT! It's not your WORK, it's your PLEASURE...
Well, why not do the same on HIVE? Why not focus your attention on the direction of having more FUN and enjoying great company? I think @godfish asked our guest in the #HHHLive show, @borniet, a question like this: "Why did you stick and stay on HIVE? Compared with all others that left..." I suppose that the answer is so simple and in front of our eyes... Those who stayed found a great company, a community, which made them stick around and have FUN! That's way more powerful and longer-lasting than any other "money" incentive...
So, what would I recommend to new Hivians? Share content that you like, find the right community where your interests are, and enjoy the company of great people here! The rest will come... Relax and have fun!
Let's see the WorkerBee Pool numbers for this week...
This week, we have mined 85 BEE tokens in total!!! 8 tokens less than last time!
We got a new delegator this week! Welcome, @risingstargame! Also, we got new delegations from old members! Thanks guys! Appreciate your support!
This POOL doesn't have fees, and you get up to 20% MORE by delegating to it!
What about the bonus tokens?
You know that I like to give away bonus tokens that you can use, or those that keep their value even in bad market conditions... After last week's "gaming token", it's time to give away some other gaming tokens! This time, it will be the SPS tokens from the most successful game on the Hive blockchain, Splinterlands! The token itself had a nice ride at the beginning of April, and now it's consolidating about 1c... Will it go up, or will it go down? I can't tell you... But, I can tell you that you can buy some stuff with it in the game, or stake it, or just sell it on the markets if you are not a player...
There will be distributed 170 SPS tokens to the delegators of the pool as a bonus reward today!
As always, in the end, let's give the exact numbers for this week... 85 BEE tokens and 170 SPS tokens will be distributed as a bonus... The APR (without the bonus) was 6.292%, and when we added the bonus, it went up to 7.531%!
I have calculated the ROI approximately with medium prices for all tokens when creating this post... So, those numbers are valid if you bought WB and sold BEE tokens at the middle HiveEngine price...
Do you want to sponsor the PH-Pool with your tokens, receive a short SPONSORED segment in this post, and raise awareness about your front-end or dApp? Please let me know in the comment section, or contact me through Discord or Twitter, and we will find the best solution for both parties...
If you want to join the WorkerBee PH-Pool, the only thing that you have to do is to STAKE tokens to YOUR account and DELEGATE your staked WORKERBEE tokens to THIS account (@ph1102)! Every week, you will get your portion of mined BEE tokens and BONUS rewards!
.:. DO NOT STAKE TOKENS TO MY ACCOUNT!!! Just DELEGATE! .:.
If you have any questions, please leave them in the comment section!
You can find more about this pool in the initial post here https://ecency.com/hive-119826/@ph1102/workerbee-p-h-ool-let-s-help-each-other
Thank you for your time.

Well I think we like stressing on the things we cannot control and it's in our nature, although sometimes it takes discipline to not do so.
In the past whenever I've talked with someone I've met on Hive, there's no way the "how do I get more upvotes" we doesn't pop up. It could be a friendly conversation and perhaps the reason why this person might have reached out in the first place was to know if there's a magical way it's done.
The key is definitely in finding out the REASON and how a certain person was onboarded... To find expectations, and to have a "realistic" talk about it... I think that could help out a lot with retention!
Yeah, but sometimes the realistic talk could also mean "more effort" and somehow, it disappoints some people to know they need to put in more efforts
ššš„³ Congratulations š„³šš
Your post has just been curated and upvoted by Ecency
keep up the good work
And to be honest, I make this mistake many times! Keeping my focus on things out of my control...
Are you refering to piano music ? šššššš
all fun aside i might need to look in to this workerbee thing in 2 hours time i should have my HBD ready to convert .
Join us on the Ecency Discord
Well, that is completely out of my league... Don't even bother with that... heheheheh...
Honestly, I'm a bit stuck with this WORKERBEE pool as there are many people who took part in it, so I have to continue doing it... Is it a good or bad investment? I can't say as I also have my doubts... There are some positive sides, but you never know... ;)
well i just bought a small portion, we will see what time brings after all participating is more important then gaining .

Other than Hive, I think we ought to live our lives this way too! Haha. It's less stressful that way.
Thanks for the update and tokens!
It is less stressful, but it's not that easy to NOT think about other things... lol... It is logical, but our brain knows how to avoid logic many times... š¤£
š
I think this is definitely an "aha" moment when one realizes that they've been focusing on the wrong thing(s) all this while. Trying too hard, especially on aspects we can't control hardly ever works. And when you're having fun, even the hard work doesn't look that hard.
Exactly! When you have FIN, it's not WORK anymore... It's a pleasure! š
Canāt but agree !INDEED!! Relax, and have fun is kinda like the best advice one can give, not just to newbies, also to weathered veterans still trying to chase the ābig onesā. Just relax and have fun, the rest will follow. Persistence and commitment are a big thing, and those are waaaaay much easier when you⦠relax, and have fun ;-)

This morning I had another thought about this... I remembered some of the HIVE events that I attended, and tbh, those "big veterans" were always surrounded by people who would like to be "close to the fire", but somehow, I found some of them lonely... On the other side, those who aren't chasing the rabbit were having fun "a la grande"... š š
That is !INDEED often a great truth! There is a Russian proverb that says "He who chases two rabbits, will catch none", and I once heard a variation on it "Don't go chasing rabbits, just chill and they will come to you"... :-)
!HOPE for sure :-) !LOLZ

I agree. You should try to relax and have fun here on Hive. It's a long run, and trying to chase after those big votes are tough. I do think that contests are a good way to attract new people and especially so if its something you are interested in.
Thanks for running the pool and for the BEE/SPS tokens.
Agree! Contests and initiatives are great for new people... They can test the water, and those things usually give a shortcut to different communities... and usually those communities are alive with active users!
Thanks for the BEE and SPS token.
Someone has to explore this on it's own because one answer do not fit all.
On side note, one has to understand another point, for your account , you have to work and find answer.
Yeah, those questions can be personal... But, I wouldn't lose time trying to answer them... Following the simple rules is the best... What I expect from others is exactly what I should do too! If I expect others to support me, I should do the first step and support others... š
If you have something too niche, you risk to be left alone tough š like there is nothing about history on hive
Create a community and start creating content on that topic! It's all about leading the way! If people like to read Worldmappin posts with places described with some historical facts, they would read some historical posts too... ;)
I think there is no objective answer for those questions as upvotes on HIVE are subjunctive expect some projects/interests/contests.
It's impossible to give strict answers to those questions... Even if you get answers, that will still be missing the point of the social interaction...
Oh yes, it's about having fun, and about all these wonderful people here on Hive :))
There is some news about the next meetups (and will come some more in the next day or two š¤), so looking for options...
More meetups, more fun! š
Yep, I'm actually considering to go back to Aachen this year, I enjoyed the last one :)

SPS let's go! Thank you!
You are welcome! Always a pleasure to share good tokens... ;)
The questions you raised are ones we hear a lot but the real answer isnāt in the number of votes. Itās about connection, interaction, and a genuine intention to share content we truly enjoy.
Aren't votes a way of connection. Of course comments are the real interactions.
Maybe you should implement some of those things in your content... Leave a space for your readers to reflect and give their opinion in the comment section... It gets easier when you share some of your personal experience...
Have a great week! š»

Relaxing (and having fun) is SO important to make it long term in crypto. Otherwise, stress will get to you, since crypto is a very dynamic and non-linear place. Hard for people to cope with it for a longer period, if they don't relax. Great topic today, despite not knowing what to write about!
That's true... You can push hard, but motivation will drop if you are not true to yourself, and force yourself to do things... On the opposite side, if it's fun, it's so much easier, no push, no crazy expectations and pressure!
