Ad Revenue theory for Hive. by @niallon11

image.png

It's nice that HIVE has zero transaction fees, that users can earn tokens from inflation, that the project can get funding, etc. But, on the other side, all these things are a big distraction! While you get DHF funding, or you get nice author rewards, you don't come up with such great ideas like you explained in your post... As the price went down, no money to satisfy big appetites, we will come up with more and more ideas like this... Hopefully, people will start developing, and we will find ways to limit our token supply growth, and get more attention...

Thailand media targeting foreigners about drink-driving incidents by @jack.russelle

image.png

I didn't expect to read about "anti-foreigners" type of thing happening in Thailand, especially as I suppose their GDP depends a lot on them... Unfortunately, the same thing happens in Europe, maybe not regarding the traffic, but you can notice a lot how the news is pushing the "foreigners-out" agenda... We don't have to go too far away in the past to see what happens when you add gasoline to the "nationalism fire"...
There are idiots all around the world, and picking 1-2 as an example and basing the opinion on their color, nation, or similar is wrong... Idiots are idiots, and they are unfortunately everywhere...

Always in black and white by @wilfredocav

Each of the photographs has a very distinctive atmosphere and character, and the contrasts between light and shadow are magnificent, not to mention the sense of movement in some of them and the way others capture aspects of everyday life. Of course, my favourite is the one of the cat, it’s very special; it looks as though it posed just for the camera, but the photo of the players is also spectacular, captured at just the right moment.

[ESP/ENG] ¿Cómo seguir luego del temblor del 24 de junio? / How to continue after the earthquake of June 24? by @mairimmorales

image.png

The sentiments you’ve written here are truly beautiful, and the act of writing them serves as a powerful form of catharsis. What you’re experiencing is normal; you love your country and its people, but in the face of such overwhelming tragedies, there isn't much we mere mortals can do—especially from afar. Helping through donations or going to places where aid is being provided to those affected is a great way to do your part, and it always makes a difference. For my part, I’ve done something different every day; today, for instance, it was something as simple as sorting clothes and joining a human chain to load trucks with water, food, and medicine. It may not seem like much, but it helped speed up the process. Keep doing what you’re doing. My only recommendation would be to limit the time you spend on social media—though I know how hard that is, because just as you see bad news, a new small victory often appears, too. Take it one step at a time, my friend; what we’re going through is essentially a period of mourning 🙏

Granite is one of the oldest rocks on Earth Eng-Esp by @doriangel

image.png

I love the work you’ve done on granite; not only is it a very beautiful rock, but it’s also extremely useful in many aspects of human life and serves as a fundamental element of nature.
There are many things I didn’t know about granite, such as its composition involving quartz, but many of the geological points you’ve touched upon are also fascinating.
Your photographs are stunning, and those stones make the place so much more beautiful, nature is marvellous. A spectacular, high-quality post that provides a wealth of knowledge.

La luz no deseada / Unwanted light by @mamaemigrante

image.png

A story with a tragic and truly terrifying ending; these entities can, for various reasons, cross over into our world. Light always destroys darkness, but in this case, it destroyed them, sadly. I was thinking about these entities and just how harmful they can be, from seeking to possess people, swap souls, overshadow reality, or cause physical harm. People believe that this world or plane doesn’t exist, but in reality, it’s simply because they haven’t seen it.
I absolutely loved your story; it’s fabulous, full of suspense and mystery.
