I stole my own Christmas present in 1991 by @whoisjohn

image.png

Hehehehe... That's a funny story on one side, and maybe a bit sad on the other side... 🙂 I remember doing similar shit when I was a kid, but looking through present (parent) eyes, I feel bad for disappointing my mom too... I mean, I didn't do that too many times, but as a teenager, you don't give a shit about anyone around you... And that's utterly wrong, as our parents want to give us everything, and we just don't appreciate it enough...
All in all, you were a good kiddo in the end, showing your siblings how to play the game and at least pretending to be excited about the present on Christmas Day... On the other side, you were excited about it when you opened it... It wasn't Christmas, but a few days before... 😃

Visiting three marinas in the city (Esp/Eng) by @jlufer

image.png

I think it’s a brilliant decision by the officials to have reconsidered improvements to services in the boarding area. Marinas can attract large numbers of people, particularly tourists, but also those who enjoy the activities on offer there.
From the photos, you can see that extending the area has created a beautiful, larger space for strolling and enjoying yourself. I love boats, and your tour really shows the activity and the improvements; I imagine it gets very busy at the weekends. It’s brilliant, honestly, the work that’s been done.

Pan con purĂŠ de papa | Ideal para hamburguesas [ES][EN] by @josecarrerag

image.png

I don’t think I’ve ever eaten bread with mashed potato, at least not that I’m aware of, but your photos really make me want to try that sort of bread; it’s also my favourite bread for burgers. Your idea is brilliant, because I can see how fluffy it is when you show the sliced bread, and although the mashed potato doesn’t add any flavour, it must still be delicious. I couldn’t help thinking of a recipe of yours for panettone, or ‘pan dulce’ as it’s called in Argentina. I don’t know why that popped into my head.
Your recipe is beautifully presented, a piece of work of the highest quality, as always, and rest assured I’ll be saving this recipe for myself and my family, who love to cook.

AÚN SE BUSCAN - DESAPARECIDOS by @miguelmederico

image.png

I was so impressed reading your post, especially since you were planning to go to La Guaira to film that day. Destiny and God definitely know what they're doing. I'm so glad you're doing well, and thank you for this fascinating and historically rich post. Thank you for sharing your ideas and knowledge. Please send me the link to your YouTube channel so I can watch the documentary and support you there too.

Ophanim [ES/EN] by @rinconpoetico7

image.png

Your story leaves me completely intrigued, but at the same time, I think it offers two possible endings. One is that there really was an apocalypse, but when the angel says they’ll find out what happened to their families once they go through the door, it’s possible that everyone is dead and they’ll see their families there. The other possibility is that the so called angel isn’t what he claims to be, and perhaps it’s actually an alien abduction. I think it will depend on each person’s imagination, and that’s the most interesting thing, you’ve presented an open ending that gives us food for thought.
A really good story, it made me wonder what people would feel and think if that were to happen in real life.

hive open mic week #325 thema-a cappella singing//siyahamba-andreas van tonder by samuelstifen by @samuelstifen

I don't think you could have chosen a better song to sing a cappella for this edition of Hive Open Mic. Bravo! I love that you did this edition using a split-screen format; you're excellent at singing harmonies—you have my full admiration. I actually recorded this song for this same community once too—a four-voice cover—and it's one of my favorite videos of mine 🤭 Long live Africa and long live Siyahamba ❤️
