OurPick encouragement program is part of the @Liotes ecosystem where quality posts are curated and authors are encouraged to continue with the content creation, adding value to different communities, and Hive in general...
Occasionally, we will pick a couple of awesome posts that we find interesting and will suggest them for your further reading... We hope that it will help authors as an additional promotion... We support creators with our upvotes in Hive, but also in other tribe tokens! These Hive-Engine tribes give extra value to the whole ecosystem and help authors and curators follow their niches and dreams...
Happy 4th B-Day, Creative Work Hour!!!
Thanks for sharing the journey of CWH and how the community gathered around! I did visit you guys a few times, and I hope I will manage to do it more often... Btw. I listened to the "4th Happy Birthday Episode" podcast, and something that Devin said hit me hard... As I have a big problem with procrastination, CWH could help me out to get it under control... to "reserve" the time to do a job..
Your new lens has worked perfectly, all the photographs are amazing and beautiful, especially those where there are rays of sunlight as the main feature, but also those where there are reflections on the water, clear, sharp and with beautiful contrasts and colours. With a tripod, you will surely take even better photographs of that beautiful pond, and one of my favourites is number 7, the golden grass. Numbers 16 and 21 are spectacular views of nature.
It has been a great composition, I loved it.
You have a cute collection of badges there! I never saw personalized badges, and it looks like a cool idea for some of the future Hive meetups! Imagine going to HiveFest and receiving a badge with your profile picture on it, but still with a discreet HIVE logo on it...
Maybe some of the organizations see this and get inspired!
My friend, this post is wonderful. You bring together so many places at once, and I think about how wonderful it must be to visit them. I'm very happy for you. The waterfall between Zimbabwe and Zambia is wonderful, but the photo of the double rainbow seems to be the winner. I loved it. What you say about the Netherlands is very interesting. I think I already suspected it from what little I know about its geography, but I see that you have made every effort to include it in this collection.
You touch on many important topics here, and it's strange, because death is the only thing that is certain in our lives, and yet it still seems to take us all by surprise, and many act in unimaginable ways when they have to face it. Are you ready to die today? Good question. I try to live my days focused on enjoying every minute and building something I can leave behind for the people I love, but I think those who live life to the fullest don't even think about it. It seems that those of us who aren't prepared to face death are the ones who are left alive to suffer the consequences.
Often, we don't have the light or sun we would like for the photographs we take, but by letting everything else go and focusing on details, we can achieve very good results. These are spontaneous photographs, typical of exploring a specific area.
There are some very interesting details. I really liked the scene in the second photograph, where there are some great contrasts. The fifth is also one of my favourites, something simple that is just there.
