OurPick encouragement program is part of the @Liotes ecosystem where quality posts are curated and authors are encouraged to continue with the content creation, adding value to different communities, and Hive in general...
Occasionally, we will pick a couple of awesome posts that we find interesting and will suggest them for your further reading... We hope that it will help authors as an additional promotion... We support creators with our upvotes in Hive, but also in other tribe tokens! These Hive-Engine tribes give extra value to the whole ecosystem and help authors and curators follow their niches and dreams...
Cemeteries have a special aesthetic beauty. It may seem morbid to visit them to take photographs, but examples such as the ones you have provided here are clear evidence that this beauty is present. Perhaps it is because it is a feared place that we will inhabit and cannot avoid, but if that little bird has made it its home, then we will not be so bad off there. As for your final question, I am torn between the cover image, which strikes me as the bird standing guard over the crucifix, and the second image, which evokes the contrast between life taking off at any moment and the melancholy of what has gone.
Broadcasting is one of my dreams. I can't say it's a frustrated dream because it's something I plan to do eventually, even if it's just for one day, like you. But when I was little, I thought that if I didn't succeed in music, I would become a broadcaster. Your face shows that you loved this experience, and if it was a once-in-a-lifetime thing, then the learning and the memories are great. It's great that you still have these photos. Thanks for sharing them on #TBT Thursdays.
This is truly a gem, the first church from the colonial era! There are many stories from that time, and that man, in gratitude for what you did, pointed out a treasure for you to visit. A church from the year 1500 is not easy to find, and here it is.
The style is impressive, the lighting is magnificent, there are no dark areas like the ones I usually see in the churches I visit, and of course I fixed my gaze on the Gothic ceilings, which are absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much for bringing me to this marvel!
There is definitely a lot of love and joy to share on that day. It is wonderful to see so many women gathered together and strengthening their bonds. Thank you for sharing your story on #TBT Thursdays. You are always welcome here whenever you have an important memory that makes you reflect on the nostalgia of those days...
What beautiful memories seeing those photos of the benteveo brings back. Your grandmother is a genius at taking those shots. It's true that they like to be high up in the trees, and in my case, when I lived there, they would perch on a very long wire I had in the garden for hanging clothes. They are solitary in that respect, or rather they mark their territory.
They have a very loud chirp that is impossible to mistake. The saying goes: benteveo, ugly bird. I love the video format so I can better appreciate this beautiful bird, especially for people who don't know it.
We miss you at Hive, but you have a powerful and worthwhile reason. It would be a shame to let the shop disappear completely and with it the possibility of continuing to make a living for your family. Of course, your testimony teaches us that it is not easy; it takes courage, effort and patience, as well as doing everything you know how to do and more. But you've only just started, and I'm sure that every obstacle you encounter will become a learning experience and part of your journey. The shop looks beautiful, and I think the idea of opening it for the village festival is fantastic. You have business acumen, haha. And the products look delicious! I hope that at least once in a while you'll find a few minutes to tell us how well things are going.
