I saw the SMART abbreviation and your first goal/resolution, "Be Audacious," and immediately thought that I need to be like that too! I have noticed that I have many things to share with others, and possibly to help others by doing that, but I fail to do it as I turn back when "loud" people are in the room...
Additionally, I considered how the "Be Audacious" goal can be measured... I always forget that HIVE is a perfect place for "measuring" something like that... You just keep the diary about events during the year, and keep yourself accountable, exactly as you shared in the post!
Good luck with your goals! I'm sure you can reach them, but you will be tested during the year, that's for sure...

Fungi Friday - Two species of white mushrooms that look so beautiful and graceful at the beginning of this new year by @ridor5301

Interesting species of fungi, the first one I have never seen before. It seems at first glance and without knowing that it is a mushroom, an egg but with a very peculiar and beautiful texture, a real rarity and then the second species seems to be made of plastic or rubber, it is something very striking, especially the bottom of the fungus.
You have taken some excellent macro shots, showing two wonders of nature up close and the colours of the surroundings are contrasting and enhance that beauty.

Those first two photos look like they were made by AI! You were in the right place at the perfect time, as the first photo, with Christmas lights on the buildings, looks awesome! It will be tough to get back to the ordinary routine after the vacation, but you have a lot of great memories to keep you "warm" until the next ones!

What a beautiful place, where you can see something that is classic in many of the villages, not only in Venezuela but in many parts of Latin America, as I have also seen here in Spain. Both the colonial style and the characteristic of the village church facing the main square of the village. Warmth and simplicity that denote tranquillity and a very nice atmosphere to walk around.
As you mention, the mountains and the mist make the landscape special, even ideal for filming a movie for example. Thank you for showing them this space, this place in your country, so that many more can see it.

I'm so glad to see you here reminiscing about Christmas 2018. That was a beautiful year, especially after a string of previous Christmases that weren't very good overall due to financial reasons. But in the end, it always fills us with joy to be able to get together with the people we love at the end of the year. I loved reading your post, and I hope you continue with this positive energy and that 2026 is also very special.

As for AI, I thought I was the only one who couldn't get it to work. It really couldn't even write two words. I wanted to design a cover photo for the Turkish community, and it never managed to write a proper sentence XD
