I'm not a musician, but... The weird thing is that I recognize all your gear, and I know how to set them up... 😃 Also, I know what the next things on your shopping list are... :) Besides the regular pedal, if your wife is using a tablet for notes, she will need another pedal for turning pages... And regarding the bag, my wife (yeah, she's a musician and pianist... that's why I know these things 😃) has a Thomann bag with two wheels... Maybe it's "only" 20kg now, but that grows, and wheels are the savers! 😃

I'm sorry to hear you had so many issues with the customer support. I recognized the same pattern from my personal experience, in a completely different niche...
I had issues with my Internet provider a few months ago, and, like you, I couldn't get a live person on the phone at all! For days and days! In the end, I got an idea to dial and ask for a SALES person, as I would like to contract their services, and surprise, surprise, I got a person on the line immediately! She wasn't happy when I said that I'm already a customer with an issue, and I would like to be connected with someone from technical support... 😃
The story is always the same... When they want to sell something to us, they will call us 10 times, but when you need some support, there is nobody to attend to you...

It’s incredible, and it’s not just there, that the jobs which should be better paid because they require professionalism are actually the worst paid, but that’s how it is, and it happens in many fields. I hadn’t the faintest idea how much a photojournalist was paid; it’s a disgrace. But I think everything happens for a reason in life; we realise this in time, and sometimes that explanation takes so long to come that we get desperate. This job might be harder, more complicated, but perhaps it will lead you to something else.
And I know that sometimes words of encouragement might not help, but you know you’re never alone; you have angels who’ll be looking out for you, I’m sure of it. And take good care of yourself; what you say at the end of your post is absolutely true.

DOGS - (PHOTOGRAPHY SERIES) by @jlinaresp

Well… having a phobia of humans could happen; I know people who do. But the most important thing here is that you talk to the dogs and they look at you so affectionately, even though you left the cats outside today. It’s a special time for taking photos, as if the animals were different when there are no people around, and you made the most of that moment.
I have to say that it’s probably that wizard’s potion you’re drinking that makes it possible for you to take such spectacular photographs and always produce such high-quality work. So I reckon you should carry on drinking it. Joking aside, these are excellent photographs, full of empathy and warmth towards the little dogs.

First of all, I’m glad you’ve managed to get the go-ahead for that medical scan you need. There’s always so much to do, and these medical matters take longer than you’d think, so there’s nothing for it but to wait. And I must say, going for a walk in that neighbourhood afterwards and coming across that piece of art was wonderful. I love the fact that educational institutions are being restored and maintained, something that’s sorely needed for education itself and for the children and young people who attend them, but also that this artist has offered to help with the restoration.
The mural is beautiful, and I love that, as I understand it, it symbolises not only Argentina but also peace and education. Thank you, Luis, for bringing us this wonderfully crafted masterpiece.

Videos that calm and relax me (August theme) ESP/ENG by @bethyjade

What a lovely selection of videos to help relax the mind, whether it’s to relieve stress or, as in your case, to help you write and feel calm at such times. The first video is beautiful; nature always helps you find peace. As for the second one, the songs Tim Burton uses in his films are very special, as is the last video, which is brilliant for children and adults alike. I really loved the experience you mentioned; that’s always the most important thing.
On the other hand, retro music, especially from that era, has something unique about it that invites you to travel back in time, so you forget about the present for a while, and that’s what helps you relax. I love ASMR videos; those sounds in particular, and of course many others, stimulate the brain to create a sense of calm.
