That kind of sucks and they don't even count for SPS airdrop ;-).
It's a very good strategy to actually plan in the long term especially when cards are out of print. I always try to think if I would be able to upgrade a card at a later stage before I invest in it. With this Summoner you need only 10 cards to get a fully developped summoner. Something that is actually pretty difficult to achieve. The CP and the additonal DEC bonus definitely compensate for the lack of ability. I would say: nice move 🙂
