Well, it's not necessarily bad, sometimes emotional reactions can be advantageous.
They can have a positive side besides the negative one. Some things can get clearer after a drama is over, plus some tension is released.

Haha, I feel that when the tension is released, people begin to see clearer and probably begin to regret some of the things they've said.
