Good evening to you depending on your geographical zone. I have lived long enough to learn this one bitter truth I am about to share with you, dear readers.
Listen, it is not the loudest person in the room that controls the room, rather it is the

quietest one.
Think about it.
In every family, there is that one quiet uncle who doesn't shout at meetings but when he finally speaks, everybody keeps quiet. And when the meeting ends, what he said is what will be done.
In every village, there is that quiet woman who doesn't gossip but she is the one the other women go to for advice when their marriage is shaking.
In every office, the loudest guy brags about what he will do but the quiet guy in the corner is the one the boss calls into his office to really decide.
Remember the topic says that the quietest ones always pull the string.
But why so?
I learned this during my parents' burial preparation. Many people made noise, promised many things. But the quiet ones, they were the ones who are actually showing working, who are actually contributing, who are actually pulling the strings behind the scene to make things happen.
A dog that barks all day has no bite. The dog that is quiet is the one you should fear. This is why in politics, in business, and everywhere, the man who talks too much is never the decision maker. The real decision maker is calm.
Many of us young ones lose opportunities because we cannot stay quiet.
We want to reply every insult.
We want to explain ourselves everywhere. But glory does not live in noise.
Glory lives in silence.
My grandfather once told me that a child who knows how to stay quiet in a room full of elders will always be invited back.
So dear young ones, dear women, dear friends reading this and take it serious.
Don't think the quiet person in your life is weak.
Never think the quiet girl is a fool.
Don't think the quiet boy in class is dull.
He is not weak but rather he is just observing the board before he moves his chess piece. And when he moves, it's checkmate.
Learn to be quiet sometimes.
Quiet with your plans.
Don't announce every move.
Quiet with your pains.
Not everyone needs to know you are hurting.
Quiet with your wins.
Let your results make the noise.
In this world, the loudest drums are empty inside.
But the quietest drums are full.
