To Try, And Fail Or Never Try, and Never Fail

(edited)

The most valuable thing you can make is a mistake. You can't learn anything from being perfect.

Adam Osborne

All my life, I have never met anyone who never got it wrong before getting it right. However, today there appears to be a plague infecting people's brains, thinking that making mistakes makes them a failure.

In life, it's said that someone who doesn't keep making mistakes is someone who never keeps trying new things.

We can't be perfect. Perfect is flawless and leaves us with zero questions left to ask.

Every so often it's good to see how we can cope and adapt to new things. They prove to get us far ahead in life compared to those who don't want to fail or make mistakes, so they do not try or fail.

The ability to be able to be okay with making mistakes is one thing while being able to learn from them is another. Learning from them is essential. If we don't learn from our mistakes, we are always bound to repeat them.

Life sure isn't all about being perfect, but being able to be comfortable with the imperfect while still striving towards perfection. It's more like a carrot chase if you think more about it.

We have to keep living, keep chasing and constantly strive towards perfection, but we can never get there, we only become near to perfect.

However, the problem with most people today, especially in the new information age era, is that when most make mistakes or fail, they find it hard to learn from them.

The value of making mistakes is about learning from them. He who is perfect has never tried anything new and he who never tries anything new, never learns or learns something new.

Life is all about making moves, taking chances and making mistakes. But it's best to always learn from every single setback and mistake instead of backing down after a try. Or not learning from our ordeals only to repeat them when we try again, which will hurt even more.

Do you think mistakes are such a bad thing as it's being portrayed today? Or we can all just be “perfect” and never get to try out new things or learn something new.
