Just like I get overly excited whenever the holidays are fast approaching, is the same way I feel sad whenever it comes to an end and I need to get back to work.
While I had the most memorable holiday of my life, I still have some highlights of my holiday which I will forever cherish.
To start with, I was able to celebrate the Christmas holiday with my family. Usually, I celebrated it alone or with friends but this time I was able to celebrate it with my whole family and we had a swell time.
We don’t know how much we miss our families until we are in the same space with them. Trust me you can go months without seeing them but when you get to see them? It hits differently and the feeling is heavenly.
Spending time with my family, doing things together, and reminiscing about the good old days was priceless and it’s something I’d love to do again and again.
To some people, visiting amazing places and hanging out with friends could be the highlight of their holiday which is still awesome as such opportunities do not come by every time but to me, one of the highlights of my holiday was having adequate rest. Oh boy, I rested enough this holiday that I am so worried if I will be able to get my acts together before Monday.
I chose to prioritize rest during the holiday and I am glad that I was able to achieve that and my family was also able to cooperate with my decision.
I stretched myself too much last year that it got to a point where I did hit rock bottom, so getting enough rest wasn’t just necessary but also a must and it’s safe to say that this young lady right here rested enough and is ready to conquer the world🥰
Again, one of the highlights of my holiday was embracing the Christmas spirit and getting immersed in the celebratory ambiance.
As we all know, Christmas comes with a kind of feeling that is indescribable. The happiness, joy, love, and peace you experience during Christmas is next to none.
I love how people come together to make people smile whilst celebrating and having fun. Even if you’re having the worst time of your life the Christmas spirit sort of rubs off on you even if not 100%, you kinda feel it regardless.
Have you seen all the amazing Christmas decorations that makes an ordinary house or place look magical? Or the Christmas songs that gladdens your heart? Oh boy, you just have to love Christmas😃
For someone who the simple things of life makes happy, seeing and experiencing all of this made my holiday perfect and if it was left for me, I’d leave all those decorations till whenever😂
While I feel sad that all of these are coming to an end, I am happy that I was able to experience something so beautiful. While I wait for 2025 Christmas, I’m holding onto the memories of my 2024 Christmas holiday😃
