How Rainy Season’s Made My Childhood Days Fun!

This is @weathwess hive newbie and this will be my first time posting in this beautiful community.

i’m excited to be dropping my first post here telling you abit about myself on how “Rainy seasons made my childhood days fun” although i’ve said a little bit about myself from my introduction post and oh concerning that i would like to use this medium to appreciate everyone of my hivians that welcomed me with opened arms thank you so,so much❤️ Okay without wasting much time lets dive into my story 👇🏻.

WHAT IS RAIN?

Rain is one of the most essential and ubiquitous natural phenomena on Earth. It is a vital component of the hydrological cycle, which sustains life on our planet.

Rain is a form of precipitation, which is any type of water that falls from the atmosphere to the surface of the earth and occurs when water vapor in the air condenses into liquid droplets due to cooling or pressure changes. These droplets then fall to the ground under the influence of gravity.

My Thoughts Regarding Rainfall As A 5years Old Kid
At such age i didn’t have the knowledge or definition of how rain comes about all i know is when its time to rain the clouds gradually gets dark, then becomes windy as well as having thunderstrikes and sometimes it strikes so hard that i’ll get scared and run to my mom or hide under blankets, then i thought the heavens will open some kind of tap before the rain could start falling down…oh, what a silly thought but at such a age can you really blame me that much? I know you’ll be wondering if i know better now? and my answer is Yes that little me grew up to become a Science Student and in the process i was privileged to learned alot about nature as whole.

Exciting impacts rainfall held during my childhood days

1. Serves as means of taking shower 🚿
   While growing up as a kid i was less privileged to have a bath with a shower pole like other kids does because for me before i can bath i have to fetch water from stream or the community borehole and use instead of a shower pole that we didn’t have.
   So it’s aways exciting to me whenever we were in rainy season and most especially when rain wants to fall because once it starts falling i would make use of it as my own shower and i remember my brother is my company whenever we have the chance’s we don’t miss out to have fun inside rain.

Though my mother doesn’t always liked it and i can still hear her voice saying “If you kids don’t come out of that rain you going to fall sick by catching cold” and one way or the other her prophecy always comes to pass yes we would ended up catching cold and be sick for days. Which doesn’t really mattered to us because whenever we have another opportunity to go inside the rain again we do take it gladly, we thought that it was worth it.

2 Means of water supply 💦
Rain is a blessing in disguise for us because instead of me and my brother going to stream to fetch water for the purpose of using at home, be it for cooking, bathing, doing our dishes or for laundry we easily make use of the rain water by using buckets to collect the water falling from above for our needs.

To me i think the most exciting part of me having fun inside rain is when we’re on weekend and i happened to be outside playing amongst my friends and rain starts falling, wow, i love those moments most especially when we’re playing football match. I think the rain normally gives us some kind of adrenaline that always got us pumped because we’ll continued to play our match inside the blitzing rain yeah it doesn’t matter when we get slipped from the slippery floor or catching cold in the process, it’s just a feelings one can’t comprehend.

You know me sitting down now and reminiscing about the good old days got me smiling and saying to myself that boy i did had such a wonderful moments during rainy season’s while growing up and up till today i still feel excited whenever rain is falling but i’m not that kid of yesterday playing inside rain,Nowadays i run from getting wet when it’s falling because adulthood ain’t nothing like childhood.
