[EN/PT-BR] Hive: Land of Opportunities

From the very beginning when I joined Hive, if there's one thing that has always caught my attention since I started to understand how things worked here, it was the various existing projects. Something new was always emerging and, obviously, many others had been alive for a long time, indicating a rich and active ecosystem.

Over time, unfortunately, many ended up disappearing, diminishing in importance, or simply ceasing to receive the same attention from users. Even after all this time, I believe there are still good opportunities within Hive for those willing to participate and build little by little.

A recent example is @scrobble and/or @scrobble.life; the frontend is alive and well, quite active, and has several proposals ranging from recommending your own or friends' posts for a chance to receive support from some accounts, to participating by creating review posts about music, series, movies, books, manga, anime, among others. It's something I discovered recently and, even though I'm not the type of person who participated much in projects, I decided to start participating and learning from it.

Scrobble has become an interesting project because it creates an opportunity mainly for those who produce original content and, as I think, I believe that we all watch something or read something, so this helps generate content for us to post. With the possibility of receiving good votes from some accounts as I mentioned (this doesn't mean it's guaranteed), it's good to go to a place where people are active and creating content.

Another project that continues to thrive and has proven to be very resilient, despite this long and difficult period, is Splinterlands (@steemmonsters). The game has undergone several changes over the years, but it still offers many new features in its reward system. Currently, ranked battles can generate Glint and SPS, while there are also formats such as Frontier, Guild Brawls, and Survival. The rewards go beyond the "in-game," as posts about the game continue to receive good votes and support from the game's official account and from people who love the game.

In addition to these, we have active projects like @worldmappin, @liketu, and @threespeak, which continue to be active in the ecosystem. We also have frontends focused more on social media, such as PeakD and Ecency, which have been with us for a long time and remain among the main frontends of the Hive. Even if they don't have an active and specific form of curation, they are pages that always have something to offer, whether it's an update, post promotion, or points to accumulate. The ecosystem is alive, and that's what matters!

Finally, perhaps the greatest opportunity for Hive right now isn't in finding a project that promises quick profits, but rather in finding one that still has a community, development, and, of course, some way to reward its users. For those already on Hive, I believe there's still plenty of room to explore, try new things, seek allies and partnerships, produce good content, participate in active communities, and build something with a long-term perspective. Hive is here; whether for better or worse, it's simply here, and I still consider it a land of opportunity!

It is true that it is a shame that year after year, more Hive dies because of the token, but it is a blockchain and web3 that has helped me a lot both economically and in showcasing my Art, and my city Cuba, my country is currently in a critical situation and Hive helps me, and many users and friends that I met on the platform, I think that without the communities, friends and acquaintances I would be nothing on my profile 🙏🫂♥️

I still don't know much about navigating Hive and cryptocurrencies, but you mention @scrobble??? And I want to know what it is and how I can learn and use it, maybe through X you could explain to me what @shiftrox is about 🙏🙏..

I will always be super grateful to communities like @diyhub @indiaunited @worldmappin @travelfeed @aliento @ecency @holozing @splinterlands @rutablockchain among many more, to whom I owe everything on Hive and my profile.

And I agree with you bro, Hive is a world of opportunities and desire to grow, now Hivefest is coming, I hope it also helps the project expand more with panels, alliances and new creators. Greetings, good post, happy Thursday!! 🫂😊🤝
