An elephant is a mammal of the family Elephantiac and the largest living land animal. They are found in Africa and Southeast Asia, as well as parts of South Asia. Elephants are classified in two different subfamilies , the African and Asian elephant subfamilies. They are the largest animals on Earth, with two large feet that are each up to 3.5 m long and a long trunk reaching 6 m long . Their tusks are very sharp and can weigh up to 2,500 kg. Elephants are social animals and live in family groups of 10-40 members...
