When you can't help but only God can.
So on my way back from church today, I met a little friend of mine along my street, he was also returning from church with his mum, so we started talking, I asked him how he has been and school, he was happy during the discussion. After that, we went silent for about 30 seconds while still strolling down the street, from his looks , I knew something wrong and that he was trying to telling me something, but didn't know how to put it, but I didn't want to ask him.
Next thing I heard that was ;
Him : Uncle I want you to buy me a laptop
... the very first thing I remembered, was that I had a plan to start saving so that I can get a laptop for myself because i seriously need one. And I didn't even know when I started laughing at the guy, he was shock self. I thought of telling him that I need a laptop also, but I said to myself again, no need, this young boy will not understand and he can't even help me , so no need for any explanation or serious response, I kept laughing at him seriously.
Him : But uncle I am serious, I need it for school.
Well, I knew he was serious, but at that very point I couldn't do anything, so I told him " I WILL BUY YOU A LAPTOP " but on one condition, you will help do something for me. I could notice him smiling again, and ask me what he will do for me.
Me : Pray to God, ask him to give me money , when God answer that your prayer, I will get one laptop for you and get one for myself too.
Him : No problem uncle, I can pray and I will do that.
Me : Good, thank God you can pray, so let the game begin.
He smiled and left me to continue the journey with his mother. I also smiled and continued with my journey with different thoughts running through my innocent mind.
I even remembered that I promised to take my little neice to Chicken Republic, when next I visit. And last week that the mum called me , she reminded me of the promise that I made. " Uncle Nsisong , when are you coming to take me to Chicken Republic, 🤣 "
At this point , it can only be God , 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
