Hello, it's three tunes day. C'mon, let's have a blast with this.
For the record, #ttt (Three Tunes Tuesday) is an ongoing initiative which is organized by @ablaze for all music lovers. Catch the full gist about that HERE.
It's the first Tuesday of February.
Which songs are y'all playing?
It's no longer a surprise that this year is flying. January went by so quickly. February is also taking off in that same momentum. It sure feels like 24 hours is no longer what it used to me.
In the midst of all that, we still have bills to pay and we have big ambitions which won't become reality if we don't make genuine effort towards that.
So, for today's edition of Three Tunes Tuesday, my intention is to highlight songs that celebrates hustling, and grinding. These are songs you want to listen to before and after each day's hustling.
Check them out;
1. Till I Collapse by EMINEM.
For the record, this particular video isn't from Eminem's official YouTube channel. I had to make this obvious because I always like to share music videos from the official channel of the artist. However, watching this video will give you idea of why I choose this.
Also, I'm not even sure there's an official music video for the song. I know Eminem likes to make music videos. So, if there happens to be one for this, it was probably hidden in the YouTube algorithm of my App.
2. Started From The Bottom by DRAKE.
If you've explored YouTube for a while and paid attention to the analytics, you will notice that there's usually something unique about videos that hit millions of views. Well, this particular video smashed half a billion views and still counting.
The song is one where Drake reminds everyone the value of hardwork especially for those who feel like they are at the bottom. He's one of those that also had to start from the bottom and his life has become a testament to the efforts and sacrifice he made in his journey.
3. Empire State Of Mind by JayZ & Alicia Keys.
New Yorkers who take their grind seriously got a sold appreciation in this particular song. It's a song that symbolizes ambition and the series of experience that can be witnessed when folks are in pursuit of dreams.
The music video is also as raw as it comes.
Jay-Z and Alicia Keys worked together to record this masterpiece. It would sure be interesting to know how New Yorkers react to this song whenever it's playing. I can't be sure of that. However, I know the song had it's moment in my life and I still vibe to it whenever it plays.
Well, the first three tunes Tuesday of this February is done and dusted.
Now, let's give our best in our grind for the month!
