SNEAK PEEK INTO HOW MY DAY STARTED TODAY

It's with great pleasure that I welcome you back to my blog after a long time. It's good to be back hitting the keyboard on my phone as I continue to share amazing contents with you all. The last few months have been a quite demanding phase of my life and it's a phase that have taught me so many life lessons. Well, let's leave that for another day.

The weekend is over and it's the start of a new week. Today,like every other day I had to get off bed early to start my day with my regular routines. As a working mother, it is not easy to blend your work with your family especially when you have a toddler. These few months of motherhood made my respect for my mother increase more than ever. I have to ensure that I bath him, prepare his food and get his bag ready for the day. After all these which may take some hours, I will now pay attention to myself and start getting ready for work.

This is the more reason I make it a point of duty to get up from the bed as early as possible, even though it's not always easy, considering the fact that the whole cycle will repeat itself in the evening as well. That is, bathing, preparing his meal and feeding him. Well, it's a bit easier for me because I'm running my own business. Should I be thankful that I left my banking job?

So, late last week I went to the market to buy a fabric for a customer that pre-ordered when I came across some set of beautiful fabrics that I can buy at wholesale price and resell in my shop. At that time, I didn't have enough cash at hand and I really wished to buy some of those fabrics. I had to choose the ones I liked which amounted to about #25,000 - they are different colors, and designs. I got between six to eight yards of the different designs of fabrics. Afterwards, I told the seller that I don't have the complete money at the moment but I will deposit about 30% and pay the balance the following week, that is, this week.

I was able to raise the balance over the weekend, so the first place I headed this morning is to go pay and get my goods. I decided to go pick it up first thing this morning so that I can have some new stocks to dispay for the new week. Hopefully, I will get to sell them as quick as possible so that i can go and restock. I saw some new designs that I may also like to purchase but I will wait until another day when I will be with funds to do the bulk shopping.
