Out of Ukraine

In February 2022, I took a flight out of Odessa. At the airport were many Ukrainians leaving the country. It was not war yet, but who followed the political situation in the world, was sure there will be a war soon. Soon, in the next 2 weeks I been guessing.
At the airport the Ukrainian police pulled people out and was looking for cash money, if someone had cash, they took it off. But why did they do so? Because Ukraine was getting ready for war and needed all the money, they could get, for it. So they collected the cash from the citizens that left the country and from the foreigners that went out of the country. Who is leaving can let his money behind. Because of this war I lost around 1000 Euro in February/March 2022 and this amount was a lot of money for me. It crashed me and I feel it up to today.
